I agree with every single word in this article. Demanding competence is a minimum requirement to expect for those who hold office. Can we not recognize that this man ran on the platform of competence, experience and empathy, yet displayed none of them. I see none of these qualities in the handling of this withdrawal by our President.

Similarly, the handling of our southern border is chaotic, cruel and dangerous. Thousands are dying in the desert after illegally crossing. Thousands more are held in horrible conditions, or released in our country without even covid testing. How can this be?

I get the frustrations with Trump. But Biden was not the answer either.

Where are the patriots who seek to uplift our people rather than betray them? Where is honor, loyalty and leadership? Why is increasing the wealth of oligarchs and their corporations above the protection of our people and their standard of living? The middle class is floundering. Those in poverty are losing opportunities and homes. But hey, Amazon and Walmart are thriving, so it's ok?

If we can't lead our nation, why are we telling other nations how to lead? What nation have we actually uplifted since WWII ended?

It is time to focus on the problems here in our own nation. We need fairness, opportunities and infrastructure. We need good paying jobs and entrepreneurs to succeed, not be stomped by monopolies. Why are banking, big pharma, big oil, big tech, big tobacco, etc. getting all the power and influence and tax breaks? What about improving education standards rather than lowering them?

I see evil spreading through exploitation, greed, and debasement of the people. Leaders are indifferent to the suffering of soldiers, children, the elderly, the sick, the disadvantaged, the weak. Empathy, real empathy, is in short supply. Families are imploding. Faith is receding. Hope is declining.

We can do better. We must, or our civilization will crumble as so many have before us, sabotaged from within due to neglect, negligence and nefarious leadership.

Biden’s a good guy anyone who can’t get over that is hindering the rest of us, trump lost get over it Biden didn’t start the withdrawal but thank god he went through with it anyone who can’t see that the last 20 years and 2 trillion dollars did nothing for Afghanistan is an idiot all we did was stall the inevitable for their country on our dime, I think the only mistake that’s cost Biden and the states was not including another stimulus with the vaccine if we all got 1200$ for the shot I imagine people have gotten it a lot quicker and maybe delta wouldn’t be what it is.

Did you really just say Bidens a good guy!

Yeah man

Oh look, another lost NPC monkey praising a false king.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 0 points

Heh, what?

[–] gavion92 4 points

How can this fool think he is a good man when he doesn’t have any connection to him. Making assumptions based off of a falsified persona you see through a screen is ridiculous. Who knows if he is a good or bad guy, what’s evident is that his intellect is declining at a rapid rate.

I didn't defend Trump. I'm saying we need better choices, not re-arguing the election. We needed out of Afghanistan, no doubt. But not this way.

Which way than? look how ineffective Afghanistan’s forces were/are they had all the resources of the United States and have let it fall into the talibans hands and to be honest we are Americans we shouldn’t give a damn about these countries I don’t know about you but in the early 2000s we were sold the talibans destruction not the maintenance of the Middle East we have played unofficial ruler for 2 decades at the profit of the war machine, best thing we could do is just leave. This quick succession of power after our departure is history the left has ammo that could last a millennia we’ll hopefully never join a conflict we aren’t needed in ever again the loss of American lives and the straight up dollars it costs to let all this happen, the war in Iraq is the duke nukem forever of American history a true clusterfuck of our leadership that millennials and gen z will spend the next 50+ years hoping to pay off on behalf of oil companies and weapons manufacturers.

[–] garbotalk 5 points

How? Sooner, maybe shortly after the election, in a slower, more coordinated fashion, removing weapons along the way and giving time for our people and allies to be evacuated.

I agree it is a burden for the next generations. This catastrophe should prove once and for all that we should not be the world's police.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 1 points

Maybe but I bet the logistics of that would keep the troops there for years and many billions of dollars more and many more deaths of American soldiers, and that’s my point why are/did we spending money we don’t have and letting our children die in shithole countries that don’t provide anything to our country outside a crude energy source we are in the process of replacing.

[–] garbotalk 3 points

Why indeed. We are in agreement there.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 1 points

Because of the profits of war we spent 2 trillion dollars on this war but the majority of the money is probably in the hands of America’s 1% we are literally serfs serving in ignorance our rich lords and we are only told this country is a democracy it’s a monarchy of a few kings who control the world with their money while they make sure to limit the education the majority receives as well as the assistance, the poor stay poor and the rich get richer and richer. That’s why we can argue against this quick departure in Iraq but it’s probably the best thing done for the average American people’s since before the 2000s

[–] garbotalk 2 points

I have literally written thread after thread condemning the military/industrial oligarchs profiting at our expense, dealers of death, sludge and poisons for profit. This cannot continue. Eisenhower was right. They are the greatest threat to our nation.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 1 points

Truly the enemies of America, but than you should see where Biden may be doing one of the most powerful things for the average Joe since America sold out. It’ll cause chaos in the Middle East but that’s not our problem it never should have been we have sooooo many of our own problems here that we do nothing to solve we spent 2 trillion on war while our educational system is an actual joke yet 1.5 trillion and America could have had free education for all, we 100% could have spent half a trillion doing enough damage to scare away the taliban and leave our mark on them for 9/11 and still pay off America’s education but we went too far and took too little considering how long and how much we spent we should have just taken over completely and created american territories.

[–] KintsugiKa 2 points

Thank God he did such a "powerful thing" for us! Now he can devote more time and energy to selling the populace out to pharmaceutical companies!

(Also: Christ! It's near impossible to parse your run-on babblings!)

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 1 points

Oh good I don’t have to worry that I’m talking to someone sane let me guess you don’t trust the vaccines?

And sorry about the run-on sentences I’m a victim of my american education

[–] KintsugiKa 2 points

Have you never heard of punctuation? 🤣

I trust vaccines. I stay up-to-date on my boosters.

I do not, however, trust a new therapy that is a "vaccine" only by a newly changed definition. I am leery of taking something the government is bullying people into taking, especially when we have never used mRNA technology on a large scale and have NO IDEA what the long-term effects could be. I cannot understand why our government would want to mandate something that is proven to not stop transmission, and cannot understand the "be a part of the team!" messaging that's being pumped out while knowing full-well this drug won't prevent spread.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 0 points

You have no faith in the lord and even less in your nation, it’s a shame. I’ll trust most things sold as a means to an end especially of something that’s crippling my nation and killing 100s of thousands.

[–] KintsugiKa 2 points

... what?

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 0 points

I have faith in god my future is fine the long term effects don’t exist, as I see it and how anyone who considers themselves believers of god should see it is medicine was created by god maybe men hold the patents but the ideas came from a divine source, this virus was created to be a weapon it was perpetuated by evil and ignorance if that isn’t the work of evil I truly don’t know what is, I have faith that the vaccine is gods way of protecting us from evil we have free will god won’t give us a magic cure god gives us intelligence so that we can make the right choices and come to the right conclusions. Fighting masks and vaccines makes you people enemy of our country and false believers in god as well as America.

Have you ever noticed how the majority of anti vax people call themselves Christians and etc? Yet they don’t trust their god to protect them from the side effects but they do trust they won’t get sick from corona meanwhile the people in and leading their circles are dropping dead from it.

[–] KintsugiKa 2 points

Yes, God gives us the intelligence to think critically about why our government would act in the name of profit instead of the benefit of its citizens.

I believe in the ideals of those who founded this country: to not trust the "monarcy" and to fight for liberty and freedom.

I am no enemy of God. God is my ally as I stand here as an enemy of lies, deception, and control.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 0 points

There is more profit in taking care of sick people than there is in the vaccine by multiples, think about that! The leaders pushing people to stay unmasked and unvaccinated look into those people 80% of the time they are invested in things sick people pay for things insurance charges an unnecessary premium on because they can.

[–] KintsugiKa 2 points

You are an idiot on so many levels. I'm done with you.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 1 points

Good luck, and find god.

[–] KintsugiKa 3 points

No, the logistics are simple.

Keep the military there, evacuate our citizens and allies, defend any attempts to stop said evacuation, and then remove the military. It doesn't have to take "years" or "billions of dollars."

I was against us going in.

I was against us staying, year after year.

I was not against leaving, but am sickened by the fashion in which we did.

[–] God-of-Tomorrow 1 points

I’m happy with it you can say it wouldn’t have taken years but I’m not talking about just the removal, if you don’t think troops would be off fighting the entire time we try to remove people you aren’t thinking. It would literally be years.

[–] KintsugiKa 2 points

No.

Yes.

That article also paints Biden like some lofty and lazy god who can control circumstance people are fucked there will always be people left behind how do you keep track of all that? People choose to come to these countries knowing what’s going on within them and these people who wanted out knew this was happening and I have to imagine the people of Iraq understood the results of the troops leaving better than we did they had time to evacuate.

Biden being a good guy or a bad guy has nothing to do with Trump. That’s such a strange thing to say.

He’s the MF president. Shame on you for not holding him to a standard higher than “just being better than the last guy”. Seriously, wtf.

I don’t have the time or energy to explain to you why Biden is not only a bad guy, but a demented pervert.

I truly wonder and worry about all the laughing and shit talking “aliens” do when they check in on us.

Do your own research. Turn off your TV. Plant a garden. Sit in silence. Reflect. Trust your gut and when people show you who they really are, believe them.

Do not vote for any person who cannot demonstrate to you that they possess a conscience.
