Women will still find a way to terminate a pregnancy whether its legal or illegal in the US. They did for hundreds of years before and will continue to do so. Instead of going to a safe environment where a women can be looked after throughout the procedure they will go to friends, or old women who know what herbs or medication to use which could be dangerous to the user. I'm not a fan or abortion but I'm a man so I don't have much say. But lets not think this will change anything but more deaths in women who have tried alternatives to do it themselves.

I think you put too much of a negative view on humans. We only have beliefs due to us not knowing any facts, scientists are atheists because they dont know any different, people believe in different religions because they dont know any different. Most people would welcome a conversation with someone (or something) who knows more to expand their mind. But currently none of us know so we have to believe in what we believe. I cant defend political/buisness leaders as i agree with your assessment but regular people are just trying to live their lives with their families and friends.

Yes we are children but if you look at most species on this planet the young learn from the old on how to hunt, survive, live etc. so if we are a young species surely asking for guidance from an older/wiser race of beings is the right thing to do. How does an entire species sort out their shit when another civilisation has been and continues to fuck with us on a daily basis? Including making sure 99% of the planet doesn't even believe in this. I see your point. I think Atheist is a bit strong for me, i don't like the Human element to religion in terms of all the negative actions caused by people of religion (Throughout history) but i would like there to be something after death.

I started reading the threads out of interest as a sceptical believer if that makes sense. I want there to be other life but have never had any of my own experience's. This thread seemed interesting and i want to know more. I only asked about the religious side as that is what keeps getting brought up and i didn't understand the correlation between aliens (apologies if that is not a term used here) and religion.

Does that mean the one is what we call God? Or are all religions here on earth a mix of information from 'The One'? Apologies i came into all this late and never really understood the religious undertones of the threads.

Thank you for this post and explanation, I'm unsure why scripture is being used and don't understand the relevance (Apologies for my ignorance) do you use it to explain to us in something we understand or is this something you believe and use? I do wish as a people we would get our act together, the barbaric nature of most of us makes me hate what we are and feel we shouldn't be any higher in status. The 3d printer was just an example of technology the government could be hiding. You state that we cant evolve while holding our hands out like beggars, but we are beggars! The system has made us beggars, has made us prisoners where we have no hope to evolve. Unfortunately help is what we need!

We need to get to a point where 'pay and 'money' are obsolete. If it is to be believed that our governments are withholding technology that could solve energy problems for everyone on this planet and 3d type printers for food etc then surely humanity could focus on cleaning this planet up and exploring the stars.
