He said “we can’t use any of this, this is not the narrative!” Hahahaha

Amazing video

Informing too.

I like the message she is delivering. We look at women who decide to stay home as weak. Why? We shouldn’t.

That is a great observation about Stay At Home Moms. Have you also noticed the counter-narrative about how Moms who work are bad and/or heartless? It is almost like somebody wants to undermine an entire cornerstone of Society or something.

I know as a full-time working mother that there is no way that I could be half as good at taking care of my kids if there were not Mommy-bloggers that put up great information, time hacks, and just general parenting techniques and advice.

And then I look at working Mothers, like Robyn O’Brien that when one of her children had a nearly deadly allergic reaction to something she ate... took on the entire food and farming industry and is one of the loudest voices for organic food and food chain transparency. Because she works. Because she is a mom.

We are not in this alone, and accepting the “official narrative” makes all women feel like victims, not the bad-ass pillars of society that they are.

Shout out to you! Working mothers doing what they gotta do are badass :)

It takes a village to raise a child.

Being a stay at home for my ex’s kid was psychologically brutal. I had to quit working because the stress from both was too much.

This had to be a comedic skit, not a real interview. He was picking his nose at the beginning and never admitted reading her book which says, "I am an unaware idiot". Tongue in cheek humor is Engand's best export, a la Monty Python.

[–] Firstladytree 1 points

Definitely. My fav comedic skit that’s also informative is the one about why girls are crazy on BC

Yup. Pretty great points all around here. She’s my kind of feminist. A point I would add is that if a woman wants to go into a male dominated field because it makes more money or she is well suited for the job... it is counter-productive to society if she shouts discrimination at every turn or demands changes be made that undermine the profession itself and make it less productive for the sake of gender equality. It is better to have some thick skin and learn how to flip the shit right back at the filthy little monkey showing his teeth and trying to be scary. To quote something often attributed to Betty White:

Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.”

[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 3 points

I'm reminded of the surprise pikachu face.

//

And oh please. Some men can literally hang their bodies by their balls. We evolved them to handle shit.

Bet'cha can't even do that, can ya? Neener neener.

Tensile vs. Compressive strength... completely different categories of comparison... 🤓

[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points

Fair is fair. I'll keep my tensile then. 😉

If I wanted to control and sway the masses I would ensure they stayed divided and stuck into their groups by emotion. For it is much easier to take over broken up pieces at a time through funneled control than rather change the whole ocean at once.

Blur the truths.

Some nation tribes and societies have already been twisted to chip themselves and accept such ways of life. Others. Not so much.

Keep them busy tearing each other apart based on their genitals, skin color, faith, culture challenges, fame, politics, morality, flat earth, polarized atheistic sciences, wealth, crimes, "rights" and what they are told is deemed as "value."

War with this person or tribe because... you are told to hate/dislike this person for reason X.

Make "life" more equal. Fair. Easy. Convenient for all.

I have not once ever heard anyone ever ask...

"Where is the narrative going?"

"What will the narrative obtain when they have everything they desire?"

"What would that look like?"

To which I ask... How can a species turn the tide or turn against their farm owners when they are stuck fighting each other instead?

Do we even have the capability to realize if we have been made to be stuck in the first place?

[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points

The solution then would be to unite the tribes against larger threats they can focus on...

[–] explorer1357 1 points

"Where is the narrative going?"

"What will the narrative obtain when they have everything they desire?"

"What would that look like?"

Lol exactly.

They DONT ask themselves anything.

This is all a way of, like you said, dividing, distracting and dumbing us down.

People like thst just don't think anymore. They just repeat what they feel they should. And get offended and mad when they start hearing unpleasant truths.

The truth is life will never be a fantasy utopia.

But that is the lie they are sold.

And exicleus, as you probably know best, most people just wanna hear what they want.

Better to sell them on a blissful fantasy, than a harsh reality.

Years ago there were two tracts available at corporations for women, the permanent tract and the Mommy tract. If you joined a company right out of college and were a woman, they feared investing a lot of time and money in a temporary hire who would leave to have children and not return. And they weren't allowed to ask either. The Mommy tract women had a glass ceiling and were unable to cross it until they were done having children. Thus, higher level positions were unavailable to them.

Women were paid mostly equivalently, but opportunities for promotion were given to men more often. They just were.

When I told my bosses I was pregnant and would be taking time off for a year or so before returning once I had the baby, honestly giving them a head's up to make arrangements, I was immediately fired. This was illegal. I sued through the EEOC (equal employment opportunity commission) and received a settlement. But my two years there was basically useless because I wouldn't get a positive referral when I was ready to work again. I was Mommy tracted. It took many more women entering the workforce before these attitudes changed for the better, but there are still some dinosaurs out there with sexist hiring.

My scenario so irritated me that I vowed to never work for someone else again. I preferred to be my own boss, and started my own business. That way, I had the best boss ever, ME! Of course, I soon realized that the boss works the hardest running things, but it was worth it. And I could work from home when having little ones so I could be with them.

I was the first home to get business class internet and fax and phone lines in my city 25 years ago. The new fangled cable company had never installed business class at a home. I had to help them "create" a hybrid service package for women like me working from home. I mean, I took it up to the President of the corporation and demanded they provide business class services and threatened to go to the media if they refused. He gave in. Now everybody is doing it!

So I'd say, there are technicalities when comparing men and women that used to lean toward men, but now, not so much. The volume of women in the workplace has increased exponentially, and most keep working because they have no choice financially. That saddens me, because laying out of work for my children's formative years was a real blessing and joy that many women are missing out on, and especially their kids.

You can't compare men and women. They are apples and oranges with different strengths and situations.

I just hired three new guys this week. I only interviewed men. Why? Because only they have the strength to do the work I require. Women don't. Was I being sexist? No. I know what the jobs required, and skinny little men and all women can't handle it. The equipment is too heavy. For other jobs, I gladly hire women or skinny men.

So I've seen both sides of it.

Y'know I'm a little bit like Jonah in Chapter 4 about this one. Realizing the damage this nonsense has done to men in the West has made me rather bitter. That women receive consequences for it seems a little... well why didn't you STOP it when it was your "champions" causing the problem? Nineveh may be filled with those who "don't know their right hand from their left..." but it's hard for me to see mercy as a good thing when we have a generation of self-mutilated fools as a result of this "intersectional" garbage.

I just listened to a great Joe Rogan podcast discussing feminism - which makes you uncomfortable and cringe at times ... but for me... happened not bc he was wrong, but bc he was right and agreeing with him almost made me feel bad.

It’s from 2015 but still holds true and ..

Very interesting ..

If not interested in anything else, at least catch the story in the last five min - gag!

She makes feminist like myself believe there still may be women alive who can form an opinion without the mainstream media’s help. Love it.
