Well the unfourtante nature of Facebook is that regardless of you having a FB account or not they have a profile on you. Your mom, sister, brother, friends ect have profiles and they have likely mentioned you, tagged you in a photo or whatever the case me be. FB has a internal word for this I think its called a "shadow profile".

Your are 100% correct. Remember what former CIA director said about Facebook. I'm paraphrasing but it was something like "Facebook was able to do what the United States Intelligence services weren't able to do in 50 years, profile every American citizen".

I would also like to point out that several FB engineers have publicly stated, again i'm paraphrasing "We can not keep the CIA from hacking into our servers". If US Intelligence wants the data they will go in and take it.

Well its hard to argue your narrative but since we do have a few stories from ancient sumer there does seem to be evidence of a war that was waged before the dawn of our time. Not only that YouTube has the algorithm to comb and clear said content for said irresponsible parent. This already exists on other sites that are age restricted.

Agree and responsible parents should not allow videos of thier children to be posted on the web regardless of content. To make a blanket statement like "boycott YouTube" is just as dumb as allowing your underage children to stream on twitch or YouTube.

I agree with it being a huge world wide business that is hard to combat. The idea of them as cockroaches is fitting as well.

I think that YouTube WILL ban minors from posting and will beef up their AI to remove such content, if they loose enough revenue.

Look I just went through your post and comments and we have lot more in common than I thought. Our government is already bought and paid for (In Russia they are Oligarchs) we call them Senators and Congressmen/Women. I think we can spin this conversation into a positive and come up with actual solutions.

I already boycott a ton of companies for various reasons and have stopped consuming beef/pork. I stopped buying clothes from companies that employ children. I find it hard to cut out all nefarious entities as they have nested them selves (permanently) in our lives i.e banks, energy companies.

I was trying to discuss how this could be "Fixed" and I proposed an idea to get things moving in the right direction. Do I think my idea is a the answer... Probably not, can it be done .... Yes.

Boycott what ? youtube, or every other major fortune 500 that sells you shit because they all advertise on the platform. You better go throw away all your clothes, food and usables i.e toothpaste, shampoo because they are all advertising. I am willing to bet you can name what you are wearing (brand) and I can find a video with a kid in it that also has a pedo time stamp in the comments.

Edit: Why not come up with your own content instead of copying what's already out there. Perhaps you could start a solutions thread that actual discuss how to stop this and not just ride the Karma train by posting current events and using others work to get attention.
