Other sentient beings in the universe (self.reptiliandude)
submitted 2017-04-16 by garbotalk
There must be so many. Glycon has shared about a few.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-04-16
Reptiliandude: Duly noted. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to deal with a bit of scolding. Poor C...
I'm in trouble now....
C is facepalming and he has more than enough hands to do it with.
Oh well...
Have fun rattling your cages little bunnies.
Garbotalk: Give him a high twenty from me lol.
Reptiliandude: When I first started calling him "Spider-Man, he drew a complete blank on me.
He is plugged into a conveyance that resembles the mirror connected to a dentist's chair.
It moves him around within a spherical chamber divided into sections resembling honeycombs containing liquid fractals agitated by his proximity.
By the time I had said it the third time without an explanation, he turned his back to me, went up to one of the fractals, drew up solid 3D images of moving spiders out of the puddle and then just hung out there for several minutes until an image of Peter Parker as Spider-Man swinging between skyscrapers formed up like dominoes falling into place.
Then without even looking up or turning around he quietly said, "Fuck you."
Since then, his command on human expletives now covers nearly all language and cultural barriers.
He cussed me out in several of them yesterday.
Oddly, I knew those words as I've actually heard them spoken by their native sources, particularly the Nepalese ones.
Suffice it to say that I love him like the spidery brother I never had.
Garbotalk: As do I.
Reptiliandude: I know. I've been bad, and he's the one taking all the heat. But isn't that what chitin is for?
Garbotalk: Chitin...interesting.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chitin
Reptiliandude: I thought you knew...
Garbotalk: Not about the chitin, which is awesome!
Reptiliandude: Just don't ever call him a "bug." That's universally considered to be offensive.
Garbotalk: Spiderman it is!
Reptiliandude: That's only because he's not an arachnid.
Arachnids like spiders extend their legs by using hydrostatic pressure.
They get too waterlogged and they can't move well.
C gets into water and he's gone.
And if you ran into him down there you'd ink a trail of shit so bad that people would think there was another rig spill going on.
Suffice it to say despite what some of your species would consider to be a horrifying cross-species anthropod of some kind, especially if you ran into him unexpectedly, he is actually quite a sweetheart who floods his vicinity with song and rather enjoys playing a game that resembles chess in many aspects.
I've yet to beat him with all his pieces on the board though.
In this version of the game the superior opponent removes as many pieces as he thinks the inferiority of the opponent may require.
The first time I ever played him he removed all but one of his pieces as a joke.
He then put three more on the board and still trounced me.
He also enjoys drinking a beverage that has an thin, oatmeal-like consistency which is his species version of beer.
They drink it out of bowls which resemble flattened opaque flower vases.
It takes a while to get used to drinking out of them as they consider it uncouth to put ones mouth on the side.
You have to put your whole face in there.
Then you wipe your chin off and let the rest dribble down into the bowl.
If you do this right the first time right off the bat you'll hear lots of clicking in esteemed approval.
Then, so long as it isn't too bright, they'll show you their real 'faces' rather than the masks nature provided to cover them.
And when you see their faces, that is when your minds will really get blown.
Let's hope that happens sooner rather than later.
Garbotalk: Isn't he blue with 4 arms?
I sometimes think of him as a telephone operator for the universe, with a switch board connecting lots of people.
Does he sit like we do? Do his knees bend like ours? Does he like swinging through trees? Do they have a bazillion offspring from laid eggs like spiders? Does he have hair on his extremities or an exoskeleton with a hard shell? Is he usually naked? Is he of similar height to us? Does he make webs? What does he eat?
Reptiliandude: I wouldn't really call the color blue, as that is somewhat misleading and would mislead people into thinking of the fictional characters in Avatar. I would direct you to the sort of prismatic color of blue you might find on a tarantula wasp. As for his arms, he uses primarily four of them.
Garbotalk: I must say, for the many kinds of life out there, I think of them kind of like the Xmen. Each species has their own fascinating abilities and strengths, appearance and culture.
They all mingle with one another in a kind of Star Wars Cantina atmosphere called the Callibration Society. I picture you and C in a booth, sharing a pint, wondering if the bunnies of Earth will ever figure out how to unlock their cages.
Hopefully there are no angry Banthas around.
[–] Project312 1 points 2017-04-16
The way Glycon describes C, he seems so cool!
Four arms and all, so cool.
It's a pleasure C :).
And chin up pal, I know old Glycon keeps getting you in trouble lol.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-04-17
I remember at Christmas when giving his wake up call to Glycon, I was told he wore a Santa hat! C has a great sense of humor.
I also remember when C heard about some of the pain of loss and illness in my life, he cried.
Humor, empathy, love, kindness...these words describe C, they describe Glycon, they describe many beings who travel this universe and are aware of us.
They don't look like us. So what? They have intelligence, honor, emotions, empathy, faith, and pride in their achievements. They also have anger, resentment, melancholy and shame, just like us.
It doesn't matter what they look like, or sound like. God made them as He made us, through the eons of time to grow and become exactly who they are. God doesn't make mistakes.
As a young woman, I was uncomfortable with the positive attention I received for my appearance. It felt....unearned.
I wanted to be admired for the me inside, my intellect, my talents, my personality, my heart, the essence of my soul.
And so I live my life drawn to those whose hearts are like mine, whatever their appearance.
Though I haven't yet met in person many aliens willing to reveal their true appearance to me, I don't believe I will have any trouble with it. In fact, I very much look forward to the opportunity.
I have once, and I felt honored. I don't have their permission to speak of it, so I won't. It wasn't Glycon or C.
[–] velezaraptor 1 points 2017-04-17
So strange, I was talking about keratin last night, one of the only other "tough-guy" proteins, interesting. But this is not what caught my eye, it was this part: He is plugged into a conveyance that resembles the mirror connected to a dentist's chair.
It reminded me of the 'Mach' effect, and it's relation to General Relativity. The Mach effect is mostly thought of as magical propellant-less thrust.
In this sub's interest, maybe we need to think in terms of every object in relation to inertia. A sun-centric set of coordinates? Not that inertia/magnetism is the idea, but more so in the relationship or concept?
[–] reptiliandude Reptilian 1 points 2017-04-20
Remember... The singularity didn't just up and vanish. It broke up like windshield glass.
[–] velezaraptor 1 points 2017-04-20
So if we use a certain geometry, we can reconstruct a visual representation of the singularity's existence? I've been looking more closely at Tetrahedron, Octahedron, and Dodecahedron.
I'll call the device Tod for now...
You would have to compactify... but it's possible to represent it as such, although it wouldn't be entirely accurate. Much like your pictorial representation of electrons 'orbiting' the nucleus isn't accurate.
[–] DankNethers 1 points 2017-04-21
Indeed
But how can you explain these concepts properly without the understanding that the universe is truly an organic machine? That we don't live in it - we are it
That perspective changes everything
Perspective being the key
[–] velezaraptor 1 points 2017-04-21
Liquid fractals? Would this be Hexahedron energy patterns in a ferrofluid? Proximity to each hexahedron is the system interfaces? Edit: The liquid fractal does not have to conform to geometry, the singularity is capable of poetry and it 's mystery of life in an organic pattern
I love systems, but this would be quite different, what might happen the first time we sat in the dentist chair?
So I'm imagining something like this: https://youtu.be/cJCsomGwdk0
The honeycomb shaped 'cables, or tubes' contain liquid fractal images or data/IO/code and these are connected to the conveyance as an interface?
[–] reptiliandude Reptilian 1 points 2017-04-21
You would be close. But to calculate standardized time means that one must sometimes slow or pause the 'frame-rate.'
[–] explorer1357 1 points 2017-04-16
Damn I really want to explore other planets and all the organisms, intelligent or not.
Hopefully soon we shall overcome the obstacle and be free, hell yeah baby!!!
[–] maxis4fish 1 points 2017-04-16
Glycon is my hero we will meet someday, I swear it. I'm not some dumb fuckin bunny. Godamn Ael kayeen fuckin try to take me I'll fist fight their leader. Glycon trust me he wouldn't have a chance the stupid fuckin baby faced sociopath.
If we fight them, reboot. No, the answer is the beacon.
[–] DankNethers 2 points 2017-04-20
War is inevitable
It has happened every time
Not in this lifetime, however
[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points 2017-04-16
Indeed, Garbotalk. I'll leave this quote with you to argue this case. Anymore reason to reboot us will prolong suffering in this reality.
Oberyn wanted vengeance for Elia. Now the three of you want vengeance for him. I have four daughters, I remind you. Your sisters. My Elia is fourteen, almost a woman. Obella is twelve, on the brink of maidenhood. They worship you, as Dorea and Loreza worship them. If you should die, must El and Obella seek vengeance for you, then Dorea and Loree for them? Is that how it goes, round and round forever? I ask again, where does it end? I saw your father die. Here is his killer. Can I take a skull to bed with me, to give me comfort in the night? Will it make me laugh, write me songs, care for me when I am old and sick?"
Fire begets fire begets ashes, till no other tree can burn, and few wh survive are dwindled and hagged.
Yes, we shouldn't stoop to war as we won't have a chance at winning anyways. Their ships would be invisible and would have force shields. We would stand no chance. So no vengeance, no resistance! I have had a change of thought since we last spoke. Let's answer the beacon, that is the only answer. Let's show the Consortium that we are indeed capable of understanding our pitiful state we find ourselves in and can handle it peacefully. The past is the past, so lets focus on the NOW to have a better tomorrow.
We must shed our past of bloodshed, and embrace a new light.
Couldn't agree with you more. So hopefully we will earn their respect and maybe even befriend them. As we ARE NOT the same species we were 13000 years ago. At least some of us, anyways 😏.
Yeah. Frankly more of us would prefer love to war. Colonize, not concur, plant not burn, justice not vengeance. We have moved on from being space orcs.
I have to admit, I feel shame for even hinting at a violent retaliation. I guess I was all caught up in the thought of how easily they can kill and harm us just for what happened to their own all that long ago. Especially since we are siting ducks with no way of defending ourselves if they decided to go with a ground invasion which essentially guarantees rape! I figured I would rather die fighting, trying to save my beloved females in my family and neighbors from suffering that same humiliation that those ancient apes bestowed upon the females and children of the Naigaje (and others among the Ael species)... No one deserves to get raped and killed. But I have come around, and would prefer a peaceful "ascension". After all, I want to live long enough to see my grandkids play with the rest of the little Ael youngins one day hehe.
[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 2 points 2017-04-16
Hey. I think you're some of the best if you can shift gears so to speak. You'll have the peace you seek, you just have to wait and persist.
Understood! And thanks for those kind words, friend :).
[–] Project312 3 points 2017-04-16
I wouldn't hold my breath... Unfortunately no one will have the honor of buying Glycon a beer, let alone meet him in person. I understand your frustrations, so I sympathize.
[–] [deleted] 1 points 2017-04-16
[deleted]
Yes I know, just channeling frustration.
[–] garbotalk 3 points 2017-04-16
It is not an easy thing to hear the truth of our history. To those whose families died at the hand of humans so very long ago on their own worlds, we are the demons that haunt their nightmares. I understand how they would want to contain us and restrain us, to wipe away our remembrances of the past.
But that was then. And this is now. At some point, we must let go of our anger, or we will return to a state of eye for eye, leaving everyone blind.
Even the Hatfields and McCoys share a museum recounting their legacy of fighting, and now shared business endeavors. The northern and southern states reformed into one nation after the civil war. Germany reunited, so did Vietnam. Someday Korea will as well.
I can forgive them for what their ancestors did to us. They need to forgive us as well.
As to our current exploitation and experimentation, it must end. I understand why it was done in the past. They are as advanced from us as we are from animals on our Earth...animals we use for food, medicine, clothing and war as the Consortium have used us.
But we have grown closer to them in abilities and potential. We have passed looking at our reflections and realizing it is ourselves. We have passed the Ankh stage as we now wear protective clothing and shoes. We have even been visited by the One, who counts the hairs on our heads and fills us with His Holy Spirit. And now we explore our own solar system as they do.
We are aware of them, some of us theoretically, others through experience. Our art, literature and dreams express our growing acknowledgement of them.
And they must recognize who we are now, and begin to treat us differently, better, so that we can all learn to live in peace.
Agreed, humanity must move on from the past. Like I stated in a previous comment, lets forget about the past and focus on the NOW to have a better tomorrow! As what our so called ancestors did is shameful. As rape if the worst humiliation one can bestow upon another. As it is a demonic ritual! I speak for all of Humanity when I say FORGIVE US AEL SPECIES! Now I fully understand your mistrusts and dislike for us, we were the demons we think you are... I am grateful I have regained my faith, as I need it more then ever now.
Well said my friend
[–] maxis4fish 2 points 2017-04-16
Hey if we can respond to this beacon in a timely manner I fully intend on shaking his hand. Or however they give formal greetings
I hope for that as well.
[–] Project312 2 points 2017-04-16
Understood, let that notion encourage you to help contribute to answering the beacon as unfortunately some among us can't give in a hand but will be there standing beside you every step of the way. That being said, shake his hand for the both of us pal :). As I know we will accomplish this. Together we can do this, and together we will succeed!
[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points 2017-04-17
Or helping in others way. There are a lot of things to clean up here.

SCUBA: a special telescope and camera that operates in the so-called "submillimetre" region of the electromagnetic spectrum, which lies between infrared light and radio waves.

Good. I dont know the ins and outs of this but we were told to observe the dust in our solar system near mercury. Maybe this is the tool for the closer inspection we need. Ill have a closer look at this article another time.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-04-29
Reptiliandude: XD I was slowly easing into a description of myself that I knew would test people's credulity were I to up and out with it.
A person with a 'beak' and 'mandibles' instead of teeth doesn't make for the best dinner conversation.
That fact is, we look more human than monstrous.
But we've been getting a lot of bad press as of late, no thanks to individuals such as David Icke.
Please bear in mind that if I use the word, "we" I might be generally referring to either the Consortium or other 'reptilian' species besides Naigaje.
For the record, the Ba'alaket are actually the most 'human' looking 'reptilians.'
I am not a Ba'alaket, although I have haplessly been dragged into their world's own enigmatic interests through a well-played gambit on the part of one of their more 'resourceful' individuals.
And she's been running circles around me since her "teen" years.
Garbotalk: I think a conversation about her is warranted. She is amazing!
Reptiliandude: That would not be prudent at this time. Suffice it to say that there are no 'reptilians' more pro-human liberation than the Ba'alaket. But that's probably in part because you're both so bloody oversexed.
Garbotalk: Lucky you! You have her in your life, and C.
Reptiliandude: Well, to be quite honest, I nearly shit myself when I first met him.
But his reply to me was rather warm and lighthearted so I calmed down rather quickly.
It roughly would have translated into English into something akin to, "You aren't going to 'ink' right here and now, are you? I just had the floor cleaned."
Garbotalk: LOL!
The Santa hat didn't help either!
Well, I think he's fascinating.
Can you tell us the name of C's species?
Reptiliandude: No, unfortunately. They will handle that part on their own when the time comes. It will also not be themselves in person who pay the first visit, but rather, a synth likened unto yourselves. You would be too horrified at their true appearance. It is, for lack of a better term, somewhat 'Lovecraftian' in nature.
Garbotalk: A synth like us, so a grey then.
Reptiliandude: No... they don't use greys. They make their own unique types designed specifically to interact with specific species.
Garbotalk: Are they greatly offended by the way we exterminate insects?
Reptiliandude: Here's his answer.
"No more than you might be offended by someone setting up a mouse trap.
"Although, it might be demonstrative of a higher intelligence if you realized that you could harness the abilities of insects to assist in your agricultural endeavors instead of poisoning everything."
---C
Garbotalk: Well, we love bees and worms in our gardens anyway. The others turn over the soil pretty well. But locusts are quite voracious, as are grasshoppers many others.
[–] Hooded_Rat 1 points 2017-05-15
You limit yourself if you think in terms of only extraterrestrial aliens. There are also extradimensional/temporal aliens, and all the crazy life already on this planet. Not to mention all the other entities crawling all over it. This planet is crowded.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-05-15
I agree with you. But they didn't put us in quarantine or dump contagions on us and poisons, the Consortium with majority shareholder Ael'Kayeen did.
There are worse fates. That's not so bad in the grand scheme of things.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-05-18
Question: How do you smuggle Earth merch off of earth without causing the Assembly notice? The use of the sun would draw their eyes, wouldn't it?
Reptiliandude: Ah... Another good question! Yay! I get to answer something that would otherwise get me in trouble! The Assembly isn't like that. And your sun is the 'entrance' to this part of the stellar neighborhood. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and equipment to create the means to use the mouths of stars to travel to the mouths of other stars. Enough to actually create a pretty big "shadow" around that star if you were to look from a long ways away.
So, sadly... Most of those journeys are one-way trips to this particular neighborhood. Suffice it to say that it takes a long time to smuggle authentic items from this world to buyers. But one good haul can command a king's ransom. Hence the value in hand-crafted musical instruments and objects of value that demonstrate dexterity and skill, such as famous works of art and so on.
[–] reptiliandude Reptilian 1 points 2017-08-13
I should point out that since the specific audit assigned to C's species has concluded, I can speak a bit more freely about them.
I have in the past referred to C as a male, but that was in part to obscure any historical references some more informed individuals might use to determine her species and to also protect the identities of the intricately designed avatars they have been using to conduct their audit.
They do not use 'greys' or any synths that connect with the proprietary hardware or software of the Consortium.
Instead, they build and operate their own.
As for referring to her in the male context, that has always been a pronoun of authority where her species influence was involved.
Moreover, she also enjoyed it as a play on words as in the vocal element of her species occasional usage of regionally constructed language, 'Sheh' or 'Shedu,' means King or Boss over someone else of considerably lower standing, while 'Hee(h~)' means, "One who commands another to till the dirt, or to cart away manure."
So every time I referred to Her as a He, I was essentially putting myself in the same category as an illiterate rube, with her as my immediate supervisor.
This has delighted her to no end.
"So, are you enjoying your field work?"
"You sure do like getting your hands dirty..."
"You really have to put up with a lot of shit tramping around down there..."
"All you can do is plant seeds, Buddy... Yep, plant those seeds..."
It started to grate on me after a while so that one day I actually called her a domineering 'rasp' out of frustration.
"You mean like the tool... rasp?" She inquired.
I quickly concurred. Whereupon, she expounded on how useful to woodworking a rasp was compared to the whip which a much more stern taskmaster would have been compared to and she took it as a compliment of nearly hermetical meaning from a true friend and confidant.
I was stunned, and dared not explain what the term really meant.
This went on for months with her occasionally referring to herself as a 'proper rasp' until... the unfortunate day she referred to Kita as a 'rasp' in conversation.
"What did you just call me?"
"And who... as if I don't already know the answer, taught you that word?"
Oh, boy...
It was a good thing that I was about 250,000 miles away at the time.
I won't go into too much detail, but she stormed into her work sphere, cranked up the power and screamed the sort of oaths and profanities that would have curdled the blood of the pirates of yore.
My nose actually started to bleed... she was that pissed.
Of course, my laughing at her shrieking and flailing about like some kind of a giant bug in a monster movie that just got set on fire only exacerbated the situation.
It was several weeks before she finally forgave me.
And she has paid me back "in spades."
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-08-13
You know you will get in even more trouble after referring to her as looking like a flailing bug, dont you?
I... oh no...
[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points 2017-08-13
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wwjxwy9nBmg
Oh boy is that music ever appropriate...
I expect to use it a lot in coming years.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-08-15
Spades, dirt, field, planting = underground. 250,000 miles away = the moon. She's in a base underground on the moon, presumably with some of her sisters. Is that correct? She won't have far to go to join the Assembly when they arrive, will she?
[–] reptiliandude Reptilian 1 points 2017-08-15
The moon?
Now honestly, wherever would they hide?
Haven't exploratory craft examined the barren and deserted surface features from great heights?
I never said anything about the moon...
And certainly wouldn't suggest that there was anything underground there.
But that does 'ring a bell.'
[–] explorer1357 1 points 2017-08-15
Wouldnt Kayeen have common sense to keep an eye on the moon?
Sure... Just like someone looking at their 'watch' every once and a while.
We are out of sync time wise, purposefully. So what we see remotely from satellites is not reality. We need to return to the moon, forget about Mars, and really explore it, everywhere, especially the dark side.
I still dont get this whole time thing.
How is what we see from satellites not reality?
It's part of the quarantine. Time is different for us than the rest of the universe. They've artificially sabotaged it to keep us out of phase so we don't see them.
Ok, but what does time have to do with how we perceive the universe? We still see the stars, movement, supernovas and other galaxies...
A time differential. Who knows when those stars were there?
Is there such a thing as a "Super Assembly"?
Like the Assembly, only its like this huge intergalactic group instead of interstellar in our part of the Milky Way?
[–] reptiliandude Reptilian 2 points 2017-08-15
The Assembly are those beings.
[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points 2017-08-15
How did they come to form the Assembly in the first place?
Or is the Assembly such that 'it' predates even this universe?
If I told you how ancient they were, or how their universe bleeds over into this one which you've been permitted to measure, you would neither understand nor believe.
Suffice it to say that there are some rather urgent matters which I must at present attend to.
It would appear that I need to make a physical appearance to some rather belligerent fellows who have been demanding to know who, and what I really am.
No need to worry, as they are blood kin of both near and divergent evolutionary origins.
I intend to make it somewhat of a shocking homecoming of sorts.
I was trying to avoid this at all costs, as my intention was to walk this road alone.
But things are currently getting out of hand, and that 'Pindar' who was cast out must now demonstrate that he has become that which the written work had prophesied.
Things are going to get weird.
Not here, specifically...
But around the world, where my kind have their own agendas which are somewhat contrary to what I'd like them to be.
I want them to achieve their full potential. And such potential has been lost and wasted away in the endeavors that they have been pursuing.
Some folks are really going to get 'floored,' as a disquieting demonstration of the odd characteristics of my bloodline and removing the 'scales' from their eyes to see the real world around them will understandably be a necessary component of the meet and greet.
Afterwards, I will compel them into the baptism of Yonish.
Take care for now.
Oh RD, try me. I will believe you, or at the very least entertain the idea.
Besides, it may well be I will have to in the future. I've had to get used to weird revelations!
I shall continue my path as you continue yours friend.
Some characters need to develop between chapters, and conversly some characters now approach thier chapters. You're about to bring about some terrific development. I trust you to succeed as you must.
I am ultimatly left with this thought:
Prophecies are warnings; not predictions.
Prophesies are songs.
They are neither called upon to be fortuitous nor compelled to be dire.
My own kind have clearly lost their way.
I have been called upon to assist them in rediscovering it.
May you open their eyes and their hearts as you have ours.
May they dream new dreams.
May you lead humbly as you do, but so effectively.
May God give you the songs and the wisdom to sing what you must.
May they recognize righteousness.
May you open up a path to peace.
May you return to us renewed and restored.
May the One bless you and keep you.
You act as if I'm leaving you for good...
My audit has not yet concluded.
There are simply some foolish things happening which need to be addressed and some troubled reactionary elements which must be sung to in languages which they can understand.
You have a difficult task ahead. You need all the prayers you can get! We need allies, not adversaries.
[–] reptiliandude Reptilian 2 points 2017-08-16
That is my intention.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2017-08-16
If anyone can get through to them, you can!
[–] explorer1357 1 points 2017-08-16
Be back soon brother
[–] ACuriousHumanBeing 1 points 2017-08-16
Thank you for this clarification.
The best songs are that which reflect the world as it is, revealing a truth or fealing, or reflecting thw world as it could be, futher emboldening the spirit to action.
http://www.popsci.com/does-moon-sound-like-bell
The moon rang like a bell from controlled seismic activity when the land rovers were intentionally crashed into the surface. Some say because it is partly hollow. So yes, the moon. And yes, underground.
The mining of helium 3 is likely going on below the surface by those who live underground. It's a menial task that produces valuable product, something we could certainly base our monetary system on instead of petro-dollars. I'm sure humanity would gain value should we take on that task.
And the Consortium hiding there would be revealed.
[–] velezaraptor 1 points 2017-08-15
Why would they mine the Moon?, Jupiter is chock-full of He-3.
And nasty weather.
Reptiliandude: The 'time before the moon' and the 'days of the purple sky' spanned several hundred years after the impact that wiped out the Clovis culture. As for your moon, I have no comments on that. Other than perhaps that it makes for an excellent time piece for some cultures. Although they might find that they're somehow 'out of sync.' And of course, the moon's dark side isn't necessarily the only thing that a people out of sync would be unable to 'see.'
Reptiliandude: However, since you are insistent, I would be looking in the direction of 'de-stabilization' due to something being more or less broken.
Or rather, being broken just enough, to put you out of sync.
Of course, there would be a few 'relics' to mark calibration points.
But those relics would have to be marking the points of something(s) the likes of which would have to be a network of 'connections' deep underground.
Admittedly, in a perfect obscuring, you would also need part of the device to be sufficiently massive and to keep a consistent face towards those things buried in order to keep everything in time, but necessarily out of sync.
There would of course be some side-effects to biological life, as a result of the device.
In particular, synchronous menstrual cycles in the creatures most affected by it.
But, there isn't any visible 'construction' like that massive enough to be obvious to those concerned.
So, perhaps you are mistaken.
Garbotalk: OMG I just got this. You're saying the moon, facing us on one side as it does, in combination with the pyramids on Earth on every continent is keeping us out of sync! That "bell ringing" moon was artificially placed there! "The time before the moon" was also the time before the cataclysm.
This was done to enable our quarantine. Your efforts on this planet following the cataclysm to have humanity build pyramids in placements that you initiated in order to create a grid on this planet was for the express purpose of blinding us to the activity all around us.
Wow, the effort was substantial. Did the Assembly order this to be done? Did they move the moon?
Reptiliandude: I never said anything of the sort...
What an odd thing to suggest...
As if the moon would do anything but reflect the light of the sun...
So, how are those 'stabilized' menstrual cycles coming along?
Garbotalk: No, you don't say outright, do you? 😘
Reptiliandude: There is a 'C'ertain species I have dealt with which evolution has given a way to 'play' their wings by running them across their own bodies like the strings of a violin running across a bow. They have developed multiple sets of specialized wings and body parts for the specific purpose of imparting deep emotional meaning to their 'language.'
Combine these with their unique pheromones and their ability to internally create light much like the Lampyridae on this world and you have what is quite conceivably the most complicated and beautiful language in the universe.
Their ability to convey mathematical concepts is unparalleled.
Regrettably, their written language is almost as complicated.
Part of the reasons for my own frustration with it is that for their most poetic works you have to start in the center of the 'page' and can read it in all directions like a cypher square.
In other words, no matter which direction you go, it's telling you something of value.
Once you get that down to a rudimentary level they'll show you their modern script which and they can only read via VR and go off from a center point into three dimensions, each line containing something else that can be referenced back upon its neighbor to another related topic at hand.
You could spend a thousand lifetimes studying mathematics via this musical articulation of formulae and still not take it all in.
But, it is the most effective method I've ever seen to explain the multidimensional manner of how this universe bubbles forth.
Think of your current mathematics as being limited by its two dimensional representations and calculations.
Now imagine a mathematical language that starts at a center point and expands outwards then returns back upon itself but is no longer the same because the information transformed into something more advanced as during its course it passed through a constricted wall of information flowing the other way.
Or in other words, it's a language that is more like a musical intonation summoning the concepts forth and using harmonies, melodies and rhythms to fold back upon themselves thus better explaining advanced concepts.
Never underestimate the variety of life that evolution can bring about.
And don't assume that the spiral of the ladder of this world contains the only pattern which a thinking brain can evolve from.
Heck, you only got one step stretched between two rungs going right turns only.
"Right turn, Clyde."
I love Orangutans...
But you chimps...
Reptilian dude: I can't stop laughing, really.
Why is it that so many humans pretending to be aliens make this asinine claim that extraterrestrials don't believe in a God?
Religion is everywhere in the cosmos.
Everywhere!
There are more flavors of religion than there are of Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
Are they the concoctions of 'people' trying to understand a Supreme Being who generally says nothing (at least in the primitive languages of creatures like us)?
Absolutely.
They are the tools which 'people' use to try and understand that which is difficult or impossible to understand.
If such things give people closure, so be it.
It is only the embittered and the nihilistic who begrudges his neighbor his belief in Providence.
The true language of 'God' is mathematical and projects this universe from the subatomic world much like a hologram.
How can we truly speak to such a one through prayer books and contrived words?
You speak to such a one through your actions, for it is through your eyes that he sees and through your mouths that he speaks.
Let me throw something alongside you...
It is a modified psalm/parable of something our own teacher Yeja sang to my own kind many thousands of years ago.
I've rewritten it to be relevant to the human species.
The parable is called As a consequence...
In it's original form it is sung, and every line begins with something akin to your conjunction 'AND.'
Our words are different than yours and do not translate into a rhyme or cadence well.
'AND' is a musical notation in the language of the Naigaje and I will leave it in for reasons which I hope some living here will appreciate and hear one day.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Yeja sang to the multitude and said:
One night there was a fire and brimstone preacher who died and was taken up by the angels to see the Lord...
And so they brought him in before the host of heaven, and with great fear and trembling he bowed down low, even prostrating himself greatly before Him who sat upon that throne.
And the Lord bade him to stand upon his feet like a man, and so he did, but dared not look into the face of his Judge.
And the Lord was silent for a moment and then asked him why he became a minister.
And the man was stunned, for he had no answer save that he wanted to save the souls of men from Hell and damnation.
And the Lord looked upon him curiously, even with great interest.
And the Lord continued and said, "But why did YOU believe in me?"
And the man spake and said, "Because I did not wish to be cast into Hell."
And the Lord lifted his hand and bade the preacher to wait but a moment.
And it came to pass that there was a murderer brought before the Lord.
And the man was sore afraid.
And the Lord spoke to the man gently, and said that he knew of all those things that he had done; for the man in his wickedness had tortured and killed many innocents.
And the Lord complimented the man on his cunning and his ability to deceive and to lay in wait and to gain trust only to turn and rend those who fell for his treachery.
And at these words, the murderer felt more at ease.
And he began to feel that this One upon the throne was of a common mind, for did he not allow if not outright create a 'cruel universe?'
And thus God was certainly more cold-blooded than he.
And he asked the Lord how he knew all these things.
And the Lord responded and said, "Through your eyes and by your hands I saw and felt all these things."
And the murderer marveled at these words, and said, "Truly? Truly, can you feel the intoxicating rush that comes from killing as I have felt?"
And the Lord smiled and nodded affirmatively.
And the murderer marveled and thought to himself that perhaps his fortune had changed, for he had discovered much to his surprise that the one who sat upon this throne was indeed an understanding fellow.
And truly a God, No, THE God! One who might perhaps even share a common passion for blood and death with a fellow such as he.
And the Lord smiled at the murderer and said, "Truly I have seen all things through your eyes and would like to reward you for that gift which you have given me."
And the psychopath smiled, awaiting his reward.
And the Lord said, "Behold, I give you all those things that I have seen and felt through the eyes of your victims and their families."
And at that, the man's eyes glazed over and he became like one whose joints were stiffened and paralyzed.
And from his open creaking mouth there came a scream so great that the countenances of even those among the greatest of the host of heaven were suddenly changed.
And the screaming man was dragged indignantly out from before the face of his judge.
And the preacher suddenly found himself standing again before the Lord.
... .... ..... ...... ....... ........
And the Lord asked the fire and brimstone preacher, "What is Hell?"
YES! The Lord asked, "What IS Hell?"
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
As Yeja finished these words, the officials sent by the religious leaders to arrest him turned away. For they feared the multitude and also marveled at his words saying, "None ever sang as this one."
Komithuc 17: 3 - 47
So, as you can see, religion has played an important part in our development through stories such as this. Respect and consideration of the songs and stories spoken and sung by this character, from whatever evolutionary line he has risen forth has created a common bond among many 'people' who would otherwise not even be able to communicate.
It is excerpts from these holy books that are the first things we share with each other.
Whether by coincidence or not, the stories complete themselves through sharing with others who also have similar beliefs.
As these things interweave and become whole, so are we of diverse worlds are also made whole.
The mutual shared belief in a God of Love, but also of justice and consequence, is the beginning of understanding and trust among all sentient species.
Please, never forget this.
I'm not here to preach to you, so please don't read what I'm saying wrong...
But you must know that despite whatever disinformation you've heard, we 'reptilians' are not godless.
Nor are most species and races you will ever encounter be it 1000 years form now or 10,000 years.
Most 'people' believe that there is a God.
Reptiliandude: Odd translation of άγγελος you followers of the One have come up with.
'Messenger...' That's what you've boxed yourselves into a corner with, eh?
Naigajian language translates such beings into 'Divine machines,' sometimes the translation where applicable becomes 'fractals' or 'living data packets.'
The divine machines in our mythos often (but not always) lack sufficient free-will, conscience and/or empathy and seek to obtain these things through entreaties to their creator through various forms of 'employment.'
Essentially, evolution is a 'game' whereby the Creator subtly does away with his children's hubris while keeping them occupied enough to keep coming back for more.
It's like Candy Crush, but with amino acids and proteins folding into chains.
Herein his theories are supplanted by actual working models built up out of the combined efforts of these tiny little 'Atlas' bees buzzing about and eventually lifting up the worlds.
Worlds which they eventually are invited to 'personalize' for a time in order to come to grips with yet another mode of existence not nearly as predictable, stable, or felicitous.
In other words, for a while they have to live in the houses which they built.
This goes substantially against your own species literal interpretation of Creation as being a mere six days and the whole universe as existing just so 'God' could show off to his favorite primates.
Of course if you don't vigorously applaud his flexing on the stage, you're sent packing into eternal damnation.
What you call the Milky Way is what my species calls 'The Hammered Bracelet.'
What your religious zealots call 'The Lake of Fire' is what our own word for the Universe is.
I cannot overemphasize just how much progress has been made in my species understanding of the subtle nuances and contradictions inherent within your own language by my taking this all too short plunge into humanity.
Words like 'atom,' which actually means 'INDIVISIBLE,' and words like 'universe' where the prefix means 'ONE' all the while your theoretical physicists keep on jumping about a "meta-universe" without ever having the testicular fortitude to just call it a 'metaverse' and be done with it, as it leaves everyone thoroughly confused as to what you're referring to, that is---to anyone but yourselves.
The idea of a Divine being creating a universe out of cast off sulfurous compounds with which to torture for all eternity creatures who gave themselves unto reason rather than religious epiphanies is anathema to us.
Especially since MOST other worlds except for your own refer to the 'Universe' in their languages as an Ocean or a Sea or a Lake or at the very least a cistern whose dark waters are complimented with floating candlelight or even bonfires to guide the dead and especially sailors passed on to their divine reward.
Those closer to nebula even incorporate the shadows and forms into their own constellations and refer to them as 'anthropomorphic' entities, islands, mountains or clouds.
Your species stands alone in the usurpation of all things taken into the scope of your senses.
Most of the time these things aren't even given the chance to be properly ruminated over before being promptly handed over to ecclesiastical and state authorities for their immediate obfuscation and dissection---ostensibly, so that they can be crammed into a preexisting model supporting the authority of the current powers that be under threat of censure.
...A censure which runs the gambit from simply ruining one's credibility and career, to in some nations, the loss of property and even life itself.
And if anyone, (even one of your own) dares to point out this eccentricity ensconced as doctrine in either your religious eschatology or your sciences, they are labeled as a heretic of one type or another for their trouble and the censure committee forms out of a cynical miasma as if on cue even with the leadership in absentia.
Can you imagine what these people would say upon seeing the likes of one of my own?
Both religious and secular leaders would shit themselves.
"What do you mean these aliens are capitalists! They're space Nazis!"
"What do you mean that dragon looking creature claims that they embrace a religion similar to Christianity and that the creation story is a metaphor?! Clearly they're demons!"
Honestly, I'm taking a risk just talking to you about what our thought on 'angels' or the differences in the meanings of our words are...
Especially since our term for the 'universe' is 'The Lake of Fire.'
As if you don't already know that this is the term for a place of eternal damnation
