It couldn't happen to a more deserving sociopath. Jail. Loss of profits. Exposure. Humiliation. Banning for life. This is the beginning of justice for a "Pharma Bro" who raised prices for a life saving drug 2500%, from $13.50 a pill to $750 a pill. The company Vyera hiked the price of Daraprim and illegally created “a web of anticompetitive restrictions” to prevent other companies from creating cheaper generic versions. This idiot Martin Shkreli was sent to jail and still continued to direct his employees illegally from smuggled cell phones. Now, he has to pay back all the money his greed and avarice caused him to steal from innocent, sick people.

Hey Big Pharma, humanity is putting you on notice! Your sneaky, evil, greed will not be tolerated. We will investigate you. We will expose you. We will arrest you. Because you harm humanity without empathy for PROFIT, we will condemn you. It might take a little while, but time is almost up. Count on it!

The only reason he received any punishment is because he was competing against Big Pharma.

Merck, J&J, and Pfizer didn't wanna play with him, so he got the book thrown at him.

I'm not defending Shkreli by any means. He's a sleazeball through-and-through. He was just playing the game by the same rules the Big Guys play by. He's just paying the price because he doesn't have the same sway as these Big Pharma companies. He isn't a hero.

Yeah maybe not a hero. But big players, whether it's Wall Street, Pharma, or the big banks love to throw outsiders to the wolves so they can say "Look, look how regulated we are -- see how the government prosecutes those who break the rules in our industry!"
