US election results unimpressive. (google.com)

Another squeaky margin being hailed as an Earth-shattering victory.
Will people never learn?
[–] explorer1357 1 points 2018-11-07
I think you know the answer to that...
[–] PrinceWizdom 3 points 2018-11-07
Exactly. As long as the world is filled with NPCs this will be the result
The House was lost so this is more or less a defeat
[–] HolofractalFox 4 points 2018-11-07
Senate is more important than the house tbh. Senate's in charge of judges/cabinet, and has more power over the DOJ than the house. New Moon, time to pull out weeds with our new tools and plant seeds.
[–] LucePrima 1 points 2018-11-07
A defeat for whom?
The less those in power can legislate, the better off we are
[–] garbotalk 2 points 2018-11-08
What an interesting way to think about the overwritten, as NPC's or non-player characters driving the narrative and causing the drama that the rest of us must react and deal with.
An NPC shoots up a synagogue. You know he's an NPC because he's an exaggerated characterization of an extremist designed to trigger the nation into voting a certain way. He surfaced at exactly the perfect moment to cause maximum anxiety, driving the narrative of hate and conflict. We are a people they don't want to work together because when we do, we are an effective force.
America is a threat because of our Christian values and our resistance to those who try to take away our freedoms. We aren't lapping up the elitist, atheist agenda like Europe is doing. We aren't handing over our weapons either.
The only way they have found to conquer us is drive a selfish, narcissistic agenda through various media, and to encourage us to fight ourselves, so that we eventually beg them to control our society to bring back stability.
The Consortium is like weapons dealers who sell to both sides; as long as they can profit, they doesn't care about the fall out for the conflicts they support.
Resistance to their agenda is the best defense we currently have. We don't have to play their game their way.
[–] PrinceWizdom 2 points 2018-11-08
*the religious American people.
The Deep State, media, intelligence agencies etc and its permanent unelected members have been tools of the Consortium's Kayeen faction for a long time.
Yes they have. But we are beings of light who don't have to lie down and take this crap anymore!
[–] [deleted] 1 points 2018-11-08
Calling anyone a NPC is a lazy, incompetent way of thinking. Even hollow vacuuous eyes lead to an intelligence someplace, whether it is the original intelligence meant for that body ir not.
People are not NPC's . They are fucking people, asleep or otherwise, and guess what else buttercup? The people who hold those perceptions that some people are NPC's are a whole hell of a lot more likely to be fucking narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths, since dehumanizing people is a lot more easier than trying to deal with them, or admit that yoir opinion isn't the only one out there.
[–] PrinceWizdom 4 points 2018-11-08
Ooof seems like I pissed of an NPC apologists. Don't you understand? This is one the very reason that the ETs despise us. This narcissistic, ignorant and self absorbed species that doesn't even care about it's closest relatives on Earth. We don't even try to find out our own history buried within the oceans. And people like you, defending them are part of the problem. I never demeaned their humanity. I demeaned their ignorance.
And why would I want to deal with them? What's in it for me? Why would I want to make them critical human beings? I'm not some sort of cosmic messiah and neither am I waiting for one. In fact letting them stew in their ignorance means less competition for me to thrive in my endeavours while they are distracted by "the next big thing"
No wonder corporate America has been able to thrive. In a place where people have no national identity, they are willing to 'brand' themselves to whatever arbitrary object that may represent them.
This is not an opinion. This is a cold hard fact.
"All the world's a stage and all the men and women are merely players"
Actually, you are mistaken. Most people are NPCs. It's a very small portion that actually yanks the reigns of fate and thinks critically.
Even fewer listen to the 'still small voice' that is inside everyone.
Fools don’t have any desire to take the time to figure out metaphor as they are simply bouncing from one emotional experience to another and are much more concerned about making everything about themselves.

And why would I want to deal with them? What's in it for me? Why would I want to make them critical human beings?
I think you answer this in your original comment I replied to:
As long as the world is filled with NPCs this will be the result
Trust me, I don't think anyone would want you as a cosmic messiah, but instead of lumping people into "Meh... NPC" maybe you should think about how being narrow minded and dismissive encourages the type of behavior that you label as "NPC." You don't get out of a shitstorm by flinging more shit... it is much more productive to help someone clean the shit off themselves, and then, perhaps they will help you with that spot on the back of your neck that you missed because you were too busy telling everybody how much they stink.
[–] BlurpleFart 2 points 2018-11-08
Thank you. The NPC comment actually almost drove me away from here yesterday.
It can be a funny meme at times, but it gets used too often to basically just lump a group of individuals into a caste that is easy to dismiss, or dispose of. The military teaches techniques to de-humanize and demonize specific groups to make it psychologically easier to kill.
At its root is a way to make others appear inferior so that we may look more impressive beside them. People who are truly good at making lasting, meaningful change are the ones that pull others up with them, not step on their heads and push them down to reach the next rung.
[–] BlurpleFart 1 points 2018-11-08
The superior man is the providence of the inferior. He is eyes for the blind, strength for the weak, and a shield for the defenseless. He stands erect by bending above the fallen. He rises by lifting others.
Robert G. Ingersoll
[–] garbotalk 3 points 2018-11-08
He was not referring to humans as NPC's. He was referring to Kayeen wearing humans as suits and pretending to be human, triggering planned horrors to get us to react.
PrinceWizdom is quite empathetic about humanity's struggles, but like all of us, can't help everyone, even if he wanted to.
As more people are overwritten, the Kayeen will be able to insert themselves anywhere and affect the narrative toward their objectives of chipping and overwriting many of us, and enslaving or harvesting the rest.
The Kayeen are linked mentally with one another through their tech. They are incredibly advanced. But this tech removes their empathy, and when inserting themselves into humans, they do not have any love, care, concern, or basic human instincts left at all. They are willing sociopaths.
So your argument about caring about mothers and infants is irrelevant to the topic. Humans care about those people. The Kayeen do not. In fact, they would toss them on a pile to be burned in an oven as they did in concentration camps in WWII.
[–] explorer1357 1 points 2018-11-08
Thats disgusting...
[deleted]
I have enough Jewish DNA in my blood to have condemned me to one of those camps. My extended family no longer exists because of those camps and the policies that enabled them.
The country set up to protect people like me through right of return laws regularly commits violence against the people that were displaced by the actions of creating that arbitrarily designated chunk of land.
Do you know what it’s like to have someone devalue you and your existence by calling you an NPC for disagreeing politically about whether or not policies that strip babies from their mothers arms because they crossed a literally invisible line in the sand in an attempt for a better life should be allowed in the land of the free?
To also know that our government, through backdoor dealings and irresponsible policy making, contributed to their suffering to the extent that they are willing to flee their cultural centers and places of heritage for a better future in someone else’s country?
I am a child of contradiction that belongs nowhere. You can’t possibly imagine what that’s like to deal with on a daily basis.
[–] garbotalk 4 points 2018-11-08
My acceptance of the term NPC is only in reference to those overwritten. Those unaware are particularly vulnerable to the machinations of the sociopaths who lead us away from truth, and into bondage. They need our help.
As for the Jews, there are no people more mistreated nor maligned then they. Part of that is because God made promises to them that others were jealous of. Part of that is because Jesus came from that line, and those who persecuted Him are resentful of the people of His roots. Part of that is Christians with misplaced resentment.
But the biggest reason of all is because the Kayeen have historically harvested infants heavily from Jewish slaves in the past, and therefore have overwritten some of their descendants. And they still do. They also overwrite those related to the infants aborted in the U.S., Russia, Europe, and China, but that is a more modern occurrence.
Thus Jews are both the best and worst of humanity. Those overwritten are doing great harm. Those holding on to their heritage are some of the greatest people imaginable.
And there is a prophesy that a Jew will answer the beacon on a hill, calling upon the Assembly. Many physicists are Jewish, so it could happen. I regard the Jews of Israel our greatest allies in the world, and our promises to defend them sacrosanct.
Perhaps that is why the Kayeen are so focused on making America irrelevant, so they can then attack Israel without us coming to defend them.
Anyway, you are most welcome here.
<3
Edit: I greet the one in you that is in all of us, Garbo. You have my love for your understanding.
[–] garbotalk 2 points 2018-11-09
My waters of life bow to the fires that forged you!
[–] PrinceWizdom 1 points 2018-11-08
it is much more productive to help someone clean the shit off themselves, and then, perhaps they will help you with that spot on the back of your neck that you missed because you were too busy telling everybody how much they stink.
This is your prerogative. In my opinion it is better to help those that already whose minds I have touched. It's better than someone who will "perhaps help me" as you say. Don't be naive. Generally, no stranger you helped will remember you in a month.
Your mistaken. Like I said before it's none of my business. I am not American😏. If anything it's upto the people of the corporate republic to change things. I was merely pointing out the salient reason for what took place. Changing things is not my responsibility.
[–] [deleted] 3 points 2018-11-08
I am not mistaken. The "I got mine" way of thinking or mentality that you are embracing here is the exact same one you are accusing "NPC's" of having and supporting. It is the the same ones that the siriv hold clutching tightly to their chests as they justify their actions to themselves.
I think it is very relevant to a question posed to a teacher long ago "But who is my neighbor?"
Ah yes. Do you remember the parable of the "good Samaritan"? The teacher was talking about a particular situation where one man reached out a helping hand to another in need.
Of course if i come across a person needing help and it is within my ability to help, I will. Am I going to lose sleep over people that died because I couldn't help them or didn't know they existed? Of course not.
It might surprise you how well I remember the story of the good Samaritan. Samaritans at the time being considered by the Jews somewhat as "NPC's."
You know, from your own words, it doesn't sound as though if you ran across a person needing help that was in your ability to assist that you would:
And:
But perhaps you have a narrow definition of the word "help?"
*edit: pasting errors
[–] PrinceWizdom 1 points 2018-11-10
Lul "Samaritan's somewhat considered NPCs of the ancient times". Do you know what the definition of an NPC is? Did you just pull that out of your ass? NPC is a person that is concerned with moving from one emotional experience to the next, cannot think critically and does not have the capacity to listen to that still small voice within them. Now you sound like those apologist that say that Native Indians were a "peaceful people" that loved nature and lived as part of the land, when they had been murdering each other for 1000s of years before the Europeans came to the Americas.
Your attacks on my character mean nothing to me. You have simply taken my words which made perfect sense with context, and twisted them to make those reading your words question my intentions.
As for my definition of help- it is pretty clear for one with a discerning eye. I have no reason to repeat myself. You have refuted none of my words- merely used a bunch of fallacies to make yourself seem self righteous.
I have no intention nor interest to maintain a facade of self righteousness as you do and am not shackled by the need to appear a greater than I am.
You have no clue what the rules of power are and have no idea what the Great Teacher meant when he said "Listen! I am sending you, and you will be like sheep among wolves. So be smart like snakes. But also be like doves and don't hurt anyone."
[–] [deleted] 1 points 2018-11-10
You know, I stepped back for a moment and considered that the way I approached you and the way I addressed you initially with the use of the term NPC was a fair bit on the asshole side of things, however, your definition of the term NPC is far from Meriam Webster or Oxford Unabridged, as it is a term fairly new in origin and is still in the process of being defined through usage.
The usage I have seen associated with it, here on Reddit and several other places on the web is not the definition you give. I find it in new-agey forums to describe "less enlightened" people. I find it in gaming communities to describe other players that they don't like. I find it in all kinds of political forums, and not just associated with "the left." There are many other places as well, but the underlining theme throughout all of them is that it is less human, less worthy, and much easier to dispose of without taking their thoughts or concerns into consideration, because they aren't real people, afterall.
I am not American
Who ever said anything about that?
Cling to your nationalism if you want but I’m pretty sure arbitrarily drawn borders mean exactly fuck all in the grand scheme of things.
If you think "arbitrarily drawn borders" means fuck all you are sorely ignorant.
Where do you think that the foolish belief that if nations disappeared and the world were divided into economic regions there would be no war came from? People fight for identities. A citizen has an identity that involves a culture and a live people struggling for existence and working together to further a sacred cause written and declared among themselves.

[–] emperorbma 1 points 2018-11-09
Identity should be defined by GOD, for He is the Source and being by His side shall be our ultimate reward. However, the implications that "borders are nothing" is utterly unjustifiable.
As a former libertarian, I understand a nation as a collective organization of the mutual right and necessity of self-defense by individuals into a more organized and efficient system that represents the members' interests. This system is generally enacted by what we call "leadership." Just as a wolf pack will stake out an area of territory and defend it from invasions because this is where they pool their needed resources, so humans do as well. And the wolves also select the most "bad ass" among them to be "leaders." Other wolves are actually dangerous and are attacked for trespassing because they represent a separate group with different interests that compete. We humans are slightly more sophisticated in that we allow "immigration" through a process of lawful vetting of interests rather than some natural "smell" that we have. But the basic principle involved with this system is the same.
Patriotism, as I see it, is simply recognizing the necessity of this and cooperating responsibly with this collective organization of mutual interest. No man is an island, but no man should be a slave to the system either. We maintain it simply because it's the way that maximizes mutual benefit. To combat the unfairness of one family leading and doing what they want arbitrarily, leadership in our system is determined by a poll of the public and it's done so that the leadership is representative of the members of the group. But this is unstable and susceptible to corruption so it must be guarded. And we've failed to do so in many respects.
The fundamental issue here with "open borders" advocacy is that it is built upon FALSEHOOD that attacks this system of mutual interest. The government in the past instituted a system of welfare for the individuals participating in the system. The largest piece of this system is Social Security. It was originally setup to be a voluntary account which disburses funds needed when the citizen is no longer able to make personal income. Those who immigrated through fair means could be grandfathered in with little damage to this system because they would be able to participate equally.
The problem is that corrupt leaders have warped this system into a "wealth transfer" system. Now it takes from the citizens and gives to foreigners. The DEMOCRATS have chosen to import people who by no means can be effective participants in the economy to be beneficiaries of its provisions and they have chosen to export any means by which people can acquire their own currency to foreign countries. This is done under the aegis of the same "open borders" claims you seem to be making. But the net result is FRAUD.
The natural reaction against this FRAUD is further slandered by DEMOCRATS who claim the motivation for opposing the DEMOCRATS is "hating brown people." This is a LIE. And to promote it, the DEMOCRATS hid the actual science that shows that "brown people" have different aptitudes. Different aptitudes doesn't imply a value judgment. But it does imply recognizing that the kind of "equality" we're being sold by DEMOCRATS is not accurate. Equality must take into account individual differences and act responsibly. Those with aptitudes and those without are both valuable as children of GOD but one may thrive at a role that is different than another. But this is now being made into a further threat as DEMOCRATS also choose to promote the immigration of those people who express values directly hostile to the values of the people in the nation. Now they wish to import those whose religions (or lack thereof, as is the case among many DEMOCRATS who ironically support radical Islam) would destroy our own native belief systems which are compatible with this structure of values. But anyone challenging this is an Islamophobe or racist. It can't be because of prudence and diligence in defending the common interests, obviously... /s
And the DEMOCRATS also corrupted many REPUBLICANS to join their scheme, too... so don't let this be a partisan claim.
The choice of this new Patriot leadership was necessary to oppose this EVIL. The intent is restoring the intended balance of power and returning the objectives of the system to the intended goals of preserving the mutual interests of WE THE PEOPLE. Obviously, we need to guard our leaders always but it is very clear this move is correct and valid. WE must resolve the problem with the CRIMINALS have corrupted the system. People are rightly angry about being DEFRAUDED. The "open borders" rhetoric comes off very flat right now because it's been used by these CRIMINALS to great effect. If the system were "all things being equal" fair and equitable the problem wouldn't exist. But we don't live in that world. That's fantasy. We live in a world where innocent people are being destroyed constantly by LIES. And as one that follows GOD, I cannot abide that idly. We must acknowledge what is TRUE.
These LIES ultimately hurt both those who are here in the system and those foreigners who take the "free" sucker we paid for. The only beneficiary, for a short time, is the CRIMINAL who wants POWER. These foreigners are indentured servants to the evildoers. But they are guilty of choosing to take the "free" gift that was paid for with our blood.
They must MOURN for those whom they have pierced and repent lest the Son be angry. Otherwise, they shall be understood as the wolf understands a wolf from another pack... as an enemy. For God does not support the defrauding of the widow and the orphan nor is He partial to the poor or the rich. Wrath is legitimate when it is justified as a response to evil. And God will not permit this oppression and parasitism much longer.
"Love your enemies" does not mean "condone what your enemy does and enable them to continue." He made a whip of cords to drive out money changers, you know.
[–] BlurpleFart 1 points 2018-11-09
Wow... where to begin... Actually, no. There’s nowhere to begin in this rambling construct of falsehood and animosity.
The people coming here aren’t coming here to take shit from you. Fact of the matter is that your government and the assholes in it are the ones actually stealing from you and your children’s futures to line their own pockets.
The rich man at the top is laughing his ass off as you blame the poor immigrant fuck beside you for the societal ills he and his ilk have created.
Hold fast to your delusion that the Democratic Party is the enemy as our government, led by Republicans, continues to make hundreds of billions of dollars in weapons deals with the greatest exporter of radical Islam in the world. Keep it going as they continue to use our weapons to kill civilian children in their neighboring countries over political ideology and lines in the fucking sand.
If you’re still dividing on party lines, you’re too deep in your own bullshit to be able to see the bigger picture. All this death and violence over lines drawn in the sand by rich men to satisfy their desire to own and consume whatever lay in their path.
I never once said anything about open borders or implied I would ever want such a thing. I actually believe I implied the opposite when I was talking about how people are literally leaving where they would rather be to come here for a better economic future because our government destroyed theirs.
Read better next time.
[–] emperorbma 2 points 2018-11-09
I recommend you to do the same because you've misread my position if you think that I'm defending Republicans. Focus on the key word in my last post: "former libertarian." Why do you think I would change position on this? Do I really care about the borders because I'm a bigot like your shills project or do I have a reason?
I know Republicans have been corrupt, too. But from my perspective it has always been a manzai show with the Democrats leading the way as the tsukkomi and the Republicans are the boke. Kabuki theater indeed. We've been working to get rid of the boke idiots. That's what this whole election was about. Hunting down the RINOs and exterminating them.
My point is very precise, so I'll try to clarify it for you. The illegal immigrants are the instrument of Democrat policy designed to crash the system into socialism and poverty. They specifically chose immigration targets from countries where the people are least likely to have the aptitude to adjust to our culture and government paradigms. That fact is undeniable. Yes, the "rich" men are driving this crap. Absolutely. On both sides. But the goal is to get rid of that corrupt influence. You can't fix the system if the boat is sinking. You can't fix it if Soros is importing millions of illegal immigrants because you'll be facing a riot from the citizens demanding their checks.
We need stability or we're going to be just another Bronze Age Collapse. You know... Troy, Egypt, "Sea Peoples?" Legendary epics of gods provoking men into stupid conflict through Helen of Troy and Eris's golden apple (cough feminism and it's "you're a racist, sexist homophobe")?
[–] PrinceWizdom 2 points 2018-11-10
Matthew 10:14 ERV [14] And if the people in a home or a town refuse to welcome you or listen to you, then leave that place and shake the dust off your feet.
I try once or twice for people I know may see the truth. I say what I can, the rest is up to them. They are responsible for removing the scales from their own eyes.
This is the kind of comment I would expect from someone who has never actually tried, much less succeeded, in waking anyone up.
You’re still asleep, you’re just in a different bed.
Actually you are mistaken. I have successfully 'woken up' countless people in my life. Key words 'in my life'. I have no interest in doing so for random people on the internet that are of no consequences to my life.
Like I said, if it's of no use to me then why would I spend the effort? If it doesn't extend my network why would I care?
We all have limited time and energy to draw from. This is how I have decided to live my life.
Tell me did you spare a thought for the million that died today? What about the millions you didn't know that died today? What about the kid that was raped yesterday around the block? What about that mother that fed her own flesh to a child? Do you even know? Do you even care?
Look I am not pointing these things out to make you out to be a bad person. Merely that these things take effort and the fact that we don't care is the default. That's why 'God' or the 'One' is called the source of love. Not caring is 'involuntary' and being caring and loving is 'Voluntary'. But that great 'King' willingly loves his creation.
I simply only have the time and energy to influence my loved ones as I am not as great as he. It doesn't make me a bad person- merely human.
[–] BlurpleFart 3 points 2018-11-08
You’re still asleep, as I said.
A mother loves even the children of another tribe. When she is nursing, her milk will flow when they cry.
Do you cry for the countless mothers who lose their children, like I do?
You are still thinking of the world in how it relates to you instead of how you relate to it. You are a vibration in a sea of strings.
This is true for one situation in one point of time. I am talking in general terms. In general we don't care and that's simply the way things are.
I mean now that you mention it, I feel that's too bad. But until you said so I didn't even think about it. Neither did the next guy on the train. Am I going to dedicate my life to alleviate their sorrow? Nope of course not. I have better things to do.
You are a vibration in a sea of strings.
You are right! In fact using your same metaphor, it's the string that vibrates the strongest that disseminates some of that vibration to the others, not necessarily the loudest one.
If that’s what you got, you didn’t understand the metaphor.
[–] garbotalk 1 points 2018-11-08
You are arguing with a soulja alt
Oh? Which one?!
Sorry, my mistake.

The people who hold those perceptions that some people are NPC's are a whole hell of a lot more likely to be fucking narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths, since dehumanizing people is a lot more easier than trying to deal with them, or admit that yoir opinion isn't the only one out there.
So you're saying that conservatives defending themselves from the "racist, sexist, homophobe" canard of the left are all sociopaths. You're saying the left can dehumanize and belittle conservatives with impunity. You're defanging and declawing wolf cubs and sending them off to die in the den of vipers.
How progressive! How loving! Just the absolute most loving thing you can do... is to send lambs to the slaughter. "Jesus wept."
If the left wants to sling garbage at the right, they should remember "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." They invented the "Russian bot" narrative to explain the conservative's rejection of progressive politics. That wasn't dehumanizing? But it's OK when progressives do it because they're Kayeen and sooo much better than us puny mortals. The left are the ones that assume everyone wants a one world totalitarian government of Kayeen monstrosities.
You're being very unfair to a group that has been robbed of all of their defenses for far too long and are just now rediscovering they had claws.
Uh.. The left didn’t create the Russian bot meme. There were literal Russian bots pushing the alt right narrative and acting as agent provocateurs on the left.
Do you actually believe that an advanced race of aliens with the ability to overwrite would restrict themselves to only one political party, especially a losing one, if they actually wanted to take over?
The best way would be to put agents in both and have the parties become increasingly more hostile and violent toward each other until they beg for totalitarianism to end the violence. Then, ‘peace’ will suddenly be found as the actual plan is enacted.
Have you never played chess?
The left (especially the media) definitely used "russian bots" to explain why Donald Trump was successful in defeating Hillary Clinton ignoring the abysmal performance of Democrat policies under Obama and the whole attitude of "you're a racist, sexist, homophobe" being employed against conservatives which ALIENATED the middle of the country and turned it hard Crimson.
Of course I know the Republicans were involved, too. But as I said in my other post, the manzai was presenting them as the idiots to be shunned for the purpose of disillusioning people from the values that Republicans traditionally express such as loyalty, family and faith.
We are trying to recover our values. We are trying to purge garbage posting shills and screeching harpies that claim we're "nazis" because we don't worship their false gods of female empowerment, transsexual normalization and the all powerful socialist state.
If you think the Republican Party currently embodies those values, you’re mistaken. They are the party of reactionary, not revolutionary, policy making.
When someone wins the popular vote by millions and loses the electoral vote due to Republican gerrymandering of districts, that’s not progressive policies failing. That’s the system being manipulated.
Your fear of being replaced rules you. You fear losing a way of life that never existed. As long as you are afraid, someone else will always control you.
You’re so afraid, in fact, that I doubt you’ve ever actually had a conversation outside of your safe little conservative echo chambers about what progressive policies actually are or what they would actually entail.
If you think the Republican Party currently embodies those values, you’re mistaken.
You don't seem to understand that the Republican party has been taken over by a coalition of constitutionalists, libertarians and classical liberals. The old party of corporate cronies and warmongers is being gradually evicted. This is no longer the 6th party system. This "patriot movement" is, as has been stated here, about evicting a failed establishment.
But progressives seem to think "orange cheeto man bad liar" so I'm not surprised you assume I'm just a RINO. Yes, the Republicans were definitely the party of warmongers and kleptocrats. That's why the backers of Trump had to evict those like McCain, Flake and Corker. Frankly, I'm still not a Republican but I at least think it's going the right direction now while it wasn't before. This is a movement by classical liberals to try to reclaim the system from the cronies.
You seem to ignore the fact that I'm an ex-libertarian. There's a reason that is the case. If I were not convinced this was a reclamation, I wouldn't be here.
I'll be very clear about my stance on progressivism. First of all, I know about the old French Jacobin vs monarchy divide. Most of the framework of my description of the state above is from Frederic Bastiat, a classical liberal. I think Proudhon and Marx were ignorant of the consequences of their proposals and those proposals are frankly wrong in light of reality. I can look to the 1920s to know what progressivism is about: Prohibition and eugenics. Why would I, a former libertarian, ever want to support that?
I distanced myself from libertarianism because of the "open borders" nonsense that is being pushed. (Ludwig von Mises spoke about immigration from Europe, not the third world... and he didn't anticipate the idea of modern policies which directly disadvantaged the local population through welfare handouts) But I've always been against the warmongering and cronyism that characterized BOTH parties. I've come to understand that the infection is worse on the Democrat side, however.
What frosted me first is the use of copyright as a tool of censorship. That's a law signed by none other than Bill Clinton. Then these crazy attacks on gamers drove me to reject the rest of the progressive bucket of feminism, race baiting and trans normalization. Tipper Gore was the one calling for games to be censored. Why? I dunno, I guess because progressives are really in favor of Prohibition. You know like they were in the 1920s?
I'm going to be very clear, though. Democrats are not the enemy. Their party is controlled, just as Republicans were. (and to some extent still are despite our efforts) Trump was actually a Democrat. His best friend was JFK Jr for Christ's sake. You know what they did to the JFKs. We all do. You need to realize that this movement only ran in through the Republicans because there was no party that wasn't coopted. (That's the second reason I'm not libertarian anymore: Gary Johnson obviously sold out to HRC) That bonehead Hillary built Trump a road so when he was asked by MI to run as a constitutionalist, he used that go ride into power.
At the end of the day, this isn't your same old GOP. We didn't run in through the Democrats because it was controlled by the Clinton machine. It's still controlled by the Clinton machine. That's what we're trying to evict. Meanwhile we had to eject swamp critter RINOs like McCain, Corker and Ryan from the Republican rolls.
As an ex-libertarian and present minarchst, I'm still a classical liberal. I still fit the old "left" definition. But you know that's not what I mean when I say Democrat or progressive. I'm using the modern American "left-right" divide. Please don't attempt to browbeat and grandstand because I use common parlance rather than antiquated distinctions.
ADDENDUM: Also, recognize Lincoln is the first Republican. Republicans have, despite being coopted, served as a means for reformers to come to power too. Don't ignore history.
ADDENDUM 2: Anger, not fear. Anger and fear are two separate emotional processes and there's a distinct transition period if one caused the other which means it's impossible to ignorantly slip from fear to anger.
[–] BlurpleFart 2 points 2018-11-09
I don’t ignore history. I revel in it. I wanted to be the first woman president when I was in 4th grade. I’ll be old enough to run for 2020... lol
I love knowing all the dark, dirty, terrible underhanded bullshit the country has been doing all over the world since before we even gained our independence from Britain. I wish our history classes actually told the truth. It’s so much more interesting than the exceptionalism story they feed us.
I just don’t ignore human nature when I consider our modern lives. Biologically, we are matriarchal. Socially, we are patriarchal. The disconnect between the feminine left and the masculine right when it comes to policy making is evident.
Our society is completely contrary to our actual nature. The way we live is an artificial construct. To dismantle the current system without social nets to catch the most vulnerable, the country would descend into chaos.
If the right wants to win over the hearts of the people, they need to understand the actual concerns facing the middle class and stop using fear as a weapon to strong arm bullshit privacy reducing policies through Congress.
Most people don’t care about immigrants and would rather that they be given a clear path to citizenship so that they can contribute to things like social security. Most people support gay and transgender rights. Most people support women’s contraceptive rights. Most people support a health care system in which you can walk into any hospital and receive care.
Working full time, sometimes with more than one job, a lot of families can not afford their expenses and are accumulating household debt at an alarming rate. At the same time, employers are requiring ever increasing qualifications for jobs that don’t pay shit. To get those qualifications usually means taking on student debt.
There is a sense of hopelessness about the future as more and more jobs are being replaced by robots as technology advances.
I wish we could have an actual conversation about this. It would be a good time, I bet.
As for the Clinton dynasty... I wish she would just stop. She’s been gunning for that first woman spot ever since Bill left office and should just accept that it isn’t going to happen.
As for the spray tanned Adonis we have been graced with, eh. He’s a conman and we’ve all known that since the 80s. I thought it was funny that he ran as Republican and certainly didn’t expect him to win.
I wish our history classes actually told the truth.
Bastiat was right. Government funded education is a bad idea. When it's funded by the government it always tells the lies that the people in power want. When it's funded by the government it cuts out things that are actually helpful and only teaches how to be a good sycophant. Why is there no philosophy? Why do we not discuss religion academically? Why is math turned into a slog through bad teaching methods? Because these are the things that can help people rise above the system.
Of course not. I commend that your presentation is more balanced than many progressives I've encountered, at least. What's at stake in the disagreement between progressivism and this new conservative thing is an interpretation of those facts.
The main thrust of the progressive perspective about this topic seems to be defined by feminists through "patriarchy theory" which claims that society imposes "a system of social structures and practices in which men dominate, oppress, and exploit women." That definition, however, comes off as patently false to men because facts do not bear out many of the expected claims. Domestic violence, far from being gendered, is actually split fairly evenly. We find that societies tend to saddle men only with the burden of being soldiers. We find that women often receive lighter sentences for the same crimes. And society responds more consistently to women's cries for help than men's. Male homelessness is much higher. Male suicide rates are triple the rates of female suicide. Men are punished for even crying out. And we must also acknowledge the facts of false paternity claims which impact the man's own wellbeing financially. But somehow feminists insist that this anti-male behavior is "patriarchy" too. The cognitive hoops that are required for that claim to make sense are mind boggling.
But the point about biology is well taken. Because the prevailing countertheory that is arising to oppose feminism's inherent bias is the evolutionary psychological theory of gynocentrism which proposes that women are given certain deferences by society because of the inherent biological instincts to protect women as potential mothers. This theory actually does a much better job explaining these anti-male aspects of society that feminism fumbles over.
The real debate that remains is determining which value has the stronger weight. The social deference to men or the biological deference to women. Society tends to prefer male leaders. But is that because women prefer men like this or because of a secret conspiracy to make men dominate or because men are honed to leadership by the hardships that are imposed through being providers? Does society willfully ignore women or is it that most women don't rise high enough in the distribution to compete effectively in the tournament that is setup for the men by the world? Biology gave women some short hands, too.
Women often have less musculature and they're saddled with that risky prospect known as pregnancy. But men have to register to be soldiers and die. Women do not. Women receive many protections that men do not. Yet we do not condemn women for receiving these. The best way to summarize this is that both sexes have challenges and society doesn't always do a good job acknowledging them.
privacy reducing policies through Congress.
I honestly don't like that, but I also understand what it's supposed to be addressing. There's definitely a problem with Deep State child abusers. And we're hoping that they use this to clean house. But I totally agree that this is not something that looks very good in the long term if Trump doesn't repeal them when he's done.
a clear path to citizenship so that they can contribute to things like social security
I agree. Cleaning up the laws and making legal immigration targets more responsive to the demand is definitely a concern I can agree about.
Definitely. I think part of the problem is that we train to jobs that no longer exist. We need to retool the education system to be more responsive to the demands of the new economy.
But, I can also understand the other point here is that many people are trained to manufacturing jobs and these are necessary for our economy. Us outsourcing these was a bad idea because it puts our critical infrastructure in the hands of potentially hostile powers like China.
There's really 2 problems here. Automation takes away jobs from low-skilled workers increasing the population of people that cannot work. Also the vain promises of benefits that never materialize for many people. We have iPhones but we don't have what we really need, a secure way of living.
As for the Clinton dynasty... I wish she would just stop.
That we can agree wholeheartedly.
the spray tanned Adonis we have been graced with, eh. He’s a conman and we’ve all known that since the 80s.
I will admit that he's not a perfect boy scout, but I do think he's done more good than harm overall for us all. I think that we've gone too far to the idea that we have to disagree with nice words and the media has been viciously misreporting on Trump. I encourage you to watch what he really does, not the mud slinging. You'll get a different picture. Purging criminal gangs and child abusers. Easing the tension with North Korea.
I'm hoping he acts like Cincinnatus once the time comes and dismantles the surveillance. But I don't know about that one.
You should read The Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom. I really enjoyed it and I think it would be interesting to you too.
In it, Bloom talks about how genetics and biology play a role in our social behavior and culture. It’s kind of out of date now (1995 pub date) but a lot of the information is still relevant.

The Lucifer Principle
Interesting. I'll see if I can read it some time. Thank you.

Just stumbled upon this very good conversation very late in the game
Upvoted you both
But chimed in to say how glad I am to see someone recommend Bloom. The Global Brain is another good (and topically relevant) book
[–] BlurpleFart 1 points 2019-01-15
<3 I really loved his writing style even if I don’t agree with everything presented.
I’ll give Global Brain a read. Thank you for the suggestion. :)

I wholeheartedly believe that people should be able to defend themselves from attacks, physical and otherwise. You are attributing words and sentiments to me that I neither stated nor believe.
What I object to is the mindset that an entire demographic of people is mischaracterized as soulless, mindless placeholders based upon the actions of a small group of them. And when you peel back the layers, between the violent leftists and the violent right wingers, you find that they attack each other with relatively the same arsenals of nasty words and sentiments. You find that both aim to stir up so much hate, anxiety and animosity that people focus on that instead of what either party is doing or not doing.
For an example, who is "the left?" Everyone that doesn't vote straight ticket Conservative? Everyone that watches CNN? Anyone that objects to any part of a conservative party platform? Where do you draw the line for what you consider those bereft of mental capacity and personal agency to give them the title of NPC? I'll give you this... I can probably get behind calling Soros a NPC, there are quite a few others like Pelosi, the Clintons, etc, where it would also likely be apt, but not applied loosely to an entire demographic.
Our political system, in conjunction with the media, is not working to build or strengthen the country, it is working to divide and conquer us. And the process works to keep us divided. Works exceptionally well when you think about how even between people on a sub-reddit that completely acknowledges the manipulation, lies and deceit and infiltration of every part of our government, that titles like "left" and "right" divides those looking to answer the beacon.
[–] emperorbma 1 points 2018-11-10
As I said above, the target of the meme is the people using the "racist, sexist, homophobe" canard prejudicially against conservatives.
Do you prejudge people because they voted for Donald Trump in 2016 or do you just assume they have a different viewpoint? If you're the latter it doesn't apply.
Do you call people names because they don't subscribe to progressive policies or do you think "Well, I disagree with that... but it's a free country?" If you're the latter then the meme doesn't apply.
I can tell you some people I think it does apply to: Don Lemon (calls all white people terrorists), Anderson (Vanderbilt) Cooper (willfully disinforms the public), Anita Sarkeesian (all games are sexist because I hate gamers), Ana Kasperian (get off the stage you fat fuck, I'm better than you...) and her slave Cenk Uygur, the campus feminist/socialist mobs brainwashed by professors to believe being a white male is some crime against the god they deny even exists.
See, those are NPCs...
You even agree with me about many we see like Pelosi and the Clintons. That's what it's targeting. (I'd also throw in all the Democrats using "racism and sexism" as a canard during the Kavanaugh hearing, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the insane Democrats that are using illegal ballots right now, and even some Republicans like John McCain. Corker and Flake... but that's another story.)
Is it a vocal minority? Maybe. But you need to understand why this is terrifying to many of us. Corporate Advertisers back these crazy perspectives and use their leverage to censor conservatives. These perspectives are actively and prejudicially promoted by Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft. They're now are even being foisted upon the Linux community with a "Code of Conduct." We saw the first waves of this with "GamerGate" where people criticizing the lack of ethics in game advertising were wrongly labeled as "doxxers" while their opponents were doxxing and nor a peep from the MSM. This is BIAS and the MSM is complicit. They do this insanity and call themselves "progressives." We need to have something to shout the crazies down or else they can use these malicious shame tactics to control people like they have for the past 50 years.
Our objection, then, is not to you. It's to that insanity. They're using you, the ordinary and reasonable progressive or left wing voter, as shields for their madness...
[P.S. Want to know what's really scary? People like Clinton and Harry Reid and others actually made sane statements at one point but now they don't. I guess they were overwritten or bribed by the Kayeen during their tenure?]
That meme is used much more than for strictly "racist, sexist, homophobic" canards, and I would hope that you know that. In just the usage I replied to here it was used for all liberals, and in the context of election results, not in the context which you just stated.
As far as media outlets, the mainstream ones are all corrupt, and frankly even replacing every single corporate board of directors and what have you will not do a damn thing unless they actually have competition. Garbo made a great point in another thread about not supporting the businesses that you don't want to succeed. Every click you make on Google, video you watch on youtube, facebook like, etcetera is another adverizing revenue stream for them. Everytime you click on a link to a shill newspaper or network news, it is the same deal. Going there just to find out what you have to hate this week keeps them in business.
Switch social media platforms, web browsers, etc. There are actually companies out there that respect your privacy and protect it with high end block chain encryption. Alternatives to youtube, facebook, etc. Most of them don't ban people for having far out views, either. The only actual plug I'll make though is for DuckDuckGo for a search engine.
As for DJT? Gosh I really like the nickname RD gives him, red headed Lex Luther, but frankly can't bring myself to get all triggered by him. My voter habits and preferences are my own, but I do find it kind of funny that you assumed I am a liberal because I don't like NPC applied to roughly half or so of the country. That is being a human that recognizes that though they don't share my views, I can see that how they differ is in the means to similiar ends. If you go reeing all over them all the time, it typically makes them double down on nonsense that you would have been able to talk them out of of if they weren't so mad.
I tend to reserve my use to the canard, but I accept your point. I am actually somewhat bewildered how people can support criminals like DWS honesty. Maybe it is all fraud, as the evidence seems to be coming out to show?
I agree that the media should be avoided and I do so to the extent possible.
I guess I did jump the gun assuming your political leanings but the context seemed to suggest it to me. shrug. I guess I can admit being wrong.
I would add that the insanos tend to shut down discussion by themselves regardless of the meme. It is important to show that behavior is petulant somehow so it is marked as cancer by reasonable people. I feel the meme does that and I am yet to be convinced otherwise. Play stupid games win stupid prizes...
[–] [deleted] 1 points 2018-11-14
Both conservatives and liberals behave like "NPCs". You can draw out certain programmed responses from both parties.
This phenomena occurs all over Earth btw. Its not limited to the US either. Its just that the "NPCs" have different responses depending on their culture, upbringing, the values imposed on them as children etc.
NPCs aren't NPCs due to their beliefs. They are NPCs because they are heavily programmed and react to stimuli in an unconscious manner. Essentially, they have no conscious control of their state of being.
[–] emperorbma 1 points 2018-11-15
I can’t say you are incorrect that conservatives can fall into NPC-like patterns. Clearly they do. But it seems like the conservatives are a lot more sincere about the reasons. Usually family or God. Their errors are being too literal with metaphors and failure to understand odd circumstances like gay people having difficulty with the Leviticus commandments, or women having a special burden due to child bearing, or men having a burden of dying for useless conflicts.
Progressive values are found on silly ideas like the idea that everyone is racist for disagreeing with giving all their income and freedom to the social programs that they demand we have. Where did this nonsense come from? Deconstructing values and reconstruction into “social justice” that bears no resemblance to reality.
[–] [deleted] 1 points 2018-11-15
"Progressive values are found on silly ideas like the idea that everyone is racist for disagreeing with giving all their income and freedom to the social programs that they demand we have."
Progressive values aren't all bad. Ideally one needs a mix between progressive and conservative values.
Its not that one set is "bad" and the other is "good". Life does not work this way.
Progressive values aren't all bad
Maybe at one time, that may have been true. In the 1960s Progressive values may have really been about making sure the workers and oppressed minorities got a fair shake. Maybe the marches that Dr. King spearheaded really were making a positive change. And then we got the Civil Rights Act and the Equal Pay Act which put that to bed. And, now, it's apparent to anyone who pays attention the present set of progressive values seem to have taken a left turn at Albuquerque into total insanity.
(Although, if I must say, I'm still against the excesses of the Temperance movement like Prohibition and the firebombings done by some early suffragettes but that was the pre-metastatic form of the cancer we now have in full bloom...)
Marxism? Really? The system that butchered millions. But progressives support it and don't dare compare them to Stalin because that's "no true communism."
Or, the nonsense that RD himself opposed last week where progressive atheists advocate taking children from religious people lest they learn about religion.
Or that whole deal where progressives have gone from accommodating transsexuals to normalizing and promoting it as superior to "cis" lifestyles.
Or the normalization of rhetoric about arbitrarily believing women making accusations and arbitrarily slaughtering men for the crime of being men that would make Valerie Solanas sing praises to see her SCUM manifesto being put into practice.
Or the utter vilification of Caucasians by the progressive movement. Why? Because some Caucasians in Germany did bad things so every Caucasian is guilty of that sin. All the while willfully ignoring the demographic collapse of Caucasians proportionally in every country worldwide which will have them being minorities everywhere soon. But, instead, we must believe the false accusation of "privilege" and support baseless attacks on Caucasian people and their livelihood worldwide. Most especially like in South Africa where Apartheid has now completely been reversed to support the eviction and murder of Caucasians from the land.
Dr. King turns over in his grave! The Civil Rights fighters would cry tears of blood!!! I should know. My friend was one! On the very front lines of the marches in the 1960s. Yet now he regrets ever participating in them and is continually appalled at the horrors that continue to arise from this travesty of modern progressivism. These were values that well-meaning people died for that are now inverted and perverted beyond recognition.
What am I meant to do about this? Praise the ghost of Christmas past? Hah! He was banished by the progressive Atheism+ crowd because he wasn't totalitarian enough.
I think the lesson from Spoony on Ultima IX is well taken:
The most you people can hope to do is die before you can see everything you take joy and comfort in rot into filth and leave a steaming, stinking hole in your soul that NEVER F&*%ING HEALS.
[–] emperorbma 3 points 2018-11-07
Q's position is that the Senate was the real strategic goal and the loss of the House can be countered with the threat of Declassification of FISA.
That's not a stellar victory, but at least it's not a net loss. It just means Trump has to deal with pesky Democrats bothering him for 2 more years and trying to throw a wrench into the budget.
[–] exicleus 1 points 2018-11-07

Does the moon rotate around the planet?
Two rivers that meander back and forth as always.
I am just wondering why people think that having a Democrat controlled House is any different than having a Republican controlled one. They all have their hands in the same cookie jar.
Two years of Republican control of the House, Senate and Presidency and what was really done except loosening even more laws that held corporations in check? Where was the promised investigation and "lock up" of HRC? Absolutely nowhere. The only victory here is by the Siriv and Kayeen that have again given people a false hope that changing to the other side of the same filthy and corrupt coin will actually change anything for the better.
[–] LampsPlus1 2 points 2018-11-08
So what you are implying, or maybe I am reading into this, is this is what happens in 2 years. And I believe you are correct. Unfortunately.
And really, what the fuck is wrong with people in Texas and Florida? That’s what I can’t get over.
Both political parties are equally infiltrated and corrupt. It can be seen if you research any part of of our government policies in depth. Take illegal immigration for one example.
Even though both political parties have supposedly made it it one of the top priorities for thier platforms, it isn't good for business, and it isn't good for controlling the masses so legislation does not get passed.
The cheap, illegal labor that corporations can get has fueled our economy and our inflated lifestyles for generations. The break down used to be that the illegal immigrants and seasonal workers would fill the unskilled and low paying jobs that Americans didn't want because they had good factory or office jobs, and this kept food and maintenance costs low, and provided a low cost but high standard of living for Americans in comparison to the rest of the world.
Though I have many anecdotal and even personal experiences with witnessing this, there is a very clear cut example of this as it relates to the poultry industry. To be as brief as possible, if you have ever butchered a chicken, you know how messy, unskilled and how undesirable a full time job this is, as well as how easy it is to get injured on the job. The poultry industry for years knowingly hired illegal immigrants, put them in ramshackle housing, paid them the bare minimum, and called ICE anytime they needed to lay off individuals. The local ICE agents knew the arrangement. So far, only one company was prosecuted (and unfortunately acquitted of it see:Tyson). Note that immigration crackdown and tough political verbiage really ensued after a law was passed that allowed chicken to be flash frozen, shipped to China for processing, then shipped back to America, and still have U.S. country of origin labelled on the package. It also peaked with the weak economy that saw decent paying jobs all but disappear.
Being lax or ineffectual on immigration did something else... it allowed the establishment of drug cartels to easily access a population that had both spare time and disposable incomes... which in turn created "the war on drugs" which led to easier pretexts for locking up particular demographics of the population, militarizing the police, and effectively biasing the general population on all forms of mind altering drugs: easy if you make it seem like ayahuesa and marijuana are in the same class as heroine, crack and meth.
And finally, finally... having an illegal group of people in the country gives the government a wonderful pretext for stricter identity and monetary controls. They say it is a means to protect the population and root out the illegals. What it really does is make biometric data scanning seem reasonable. It makes it seem reasonable to have "immigration checkpoints" all throughout the country. Oh, and it makes it easy to obscure the bad elements they actually want to introduce into the country.
