Speaking of which, it takes about 9 months at most to reach Mars

Reptiliandude has made a post on here explaining why observatories which shut down in a synchronized manner over a false reason of the janitor having "child pornography" on the computers, coincidentally on the day he predicted some alien race emerging from the solar spots to settle Venus.
However, considering that the distance from the sun to Venus is only 67 million miles, and the distance from Earth to Mars can range between 40 million to 250 million miles (averaging ~100 million miles), it should take only two years at most for them to hypothetically reach Venus...
In which case, what's stopping any high quality yet abundant telescope from spotting such an event? >inb4 b& for this question

This'll sound like a poor excuse for Alzheimer's however I think a strong memory of an event likely reduces the possibility of divergence from that timeline unless if you're familiar with "letting go". Your experience may vary, and I agree that the toll on sanity can be existent if one feels lied to by the ghosts of their past, or the Gremlins who toy with timeliens ;)
