Somerville public access tv regularly has drag queens reading kids books to gangs of kids, sometimes the drag queens are related to one of the kids in the crowd, but they don’t make a deal about it, they’re just reading kids books to kids in drag. The kids observably love the experience and I’m sure if they have questions their parents handle it: the only reason they are there watching is because their parents brought them to the show or turned on the tv.

You need to accept that the world is changing faster than your tolerance; the ubiquity of internet and the population boom is subdividing culture faster than you can petition/legislate. If you want to insulate your family, that’s on you. There are bigger problems for us all than drag on tv.

Ifthe show upsets you and you don’t want your kids to watch, you are not the market for this show; this is the outcome of leaning so hard on screens and public school to raise kids etc etc ... turn it off and leave the rest of us alone, damn.
