Yeahh, that last bit has mad "And then everyone clapped," vibes. I know it's probably a silly thing to get hung up on given the whole ARG thing going on here, but still...I cringed.

Soo. .this is interesting. And maybe even a bit testable. Will these spider-like creatures create a big enough dent in co2 PPM to take notice? Because that would be difficult to miss and/or hide, and I'm sure many scientists around the world would drive themselves crazy trying to figure out the sudden drop in growth of co2 concentrations.

I want to thank you for doing this. In all honestly I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of many of your claims. I would ask for more concrete proof of the more...”esoteric” things you and garbotalk have communicated, but I’ve read enough of your posts to see the issues that could pose for you. Not least of which it diverges from the main goal of your audit.

But that’s inconsequential to me, because I still feel I’ve gained much from seeing your unique perspective on a variety of issues that you’ve discussed here. Your post about the petrodollar really challenged me to reconsider my own thoughts on the conflicts in the Middle East, American Imperialism, etc. And if I can sound a little cliche, I just love being challenged to think critically about things such as that. Or anything, really.

I look forward to discovering your next project. Even if I have to hunt for it!

That sounds like a decent system overall. But it leaves out what you would do with people who are legitimately, physically disabled to the point where they can't perform and/or sustain meaningful work/employment. The original point of having a welfare system was so that we could provide those people with the minimum income needed to survive, even if in a state of severe poverty. Of course the system is abused by many people who seem to love the idea of doing nothing and spending the entirety of their lives in that abject poverty, but it still serves it's original purpose as well. And while your kind might be advanced enough to fix any sort of disability along those lines, ours certainly isn't. I can imagine a solution mixed between a reformed version of our welfare system and something along the lines of your "employment system", but it goes almost without saying that the political will isn't there.
