Russia–NATO relations

Relations between the NATO military alliance and the Russian Federation were established in 1991 within the framework of the North Atlantic Cooperation Council. In 1994, Russia joined the Partnership for Peace program, and through the early-2010s NATO and Russia signed several additional agreements on cooperation. Russia has engaged in hostile threats or actions against several countries since the end of the Cold War, including Moldova (1992–2016); Georgia (2004–2012); Estonia (2006–2007), Ukraine (2014–present); Syria (2015–present), and Turkey (2015–2016), amongst others.

Laurentian Consensus

The Laurentian Consensus, is a Canadian political term, first coined by John Ibbitson in 2011. It is used to describe the belief that a general governing political consensus existed in Canada from Confederation until the early twenty first century with the election of Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada with a majority government in the 2011 Canadian Federal Election without significant support in Quebec.

Flower Hill, New York

Flower Hill is a village in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. The eastern half is considered part of the Greater Roslyn area, which is anchored by the Village of Roslyn. Western and northern parts are more closely associated with Manhasset and Port Washington. The population was 4,665 at the 2010 census.
