The conclusions that are stated here are hard to understand given the information provided here and in other threads.
Assuming 108 is a signature for Earth, is it a unique identifier in our galaxy? our universe? It's difficult to believe just the number 108 is enough to differentiate our planet from to infinite others. So I'm supposing whoever is listening to the 108 broadcast signal from Earth is also taking into account the approximate position of the origin of the signal. If the Earth is one of the few planets with a unique signature in existence I guess I could understand the premise at least...
Another thing I never understood is how the Wow Signal is somehow a request for communication. Were it not for Mr. RD stating exactly what the response message should be, it certainly would not be obvious from a constant signal like what we heard from Wow! how we should respond or if the origin of the signal is unmistakably intelligent. If the Wow signal were a sequence of numbers, Fibonacci or prime for example, then that would be a very strong indicator of intelligence and intent. And mimicry of that signal would be a reasonable response. But we don't have this here, so there is a lot that just simply doesn't add up. I wasn't able to look through _all_ the threads so I might be missing some key information though. I think if finding more scientists and answering the signal is important then some of these basics really should be more well established first because I'm sure many folk will be as confused as I am

Ok, thanks for the answer. I'll do a bit more digging around the subs, there are a lot of interesting things here. I am a skeptic by nature but I keep an open mind
