I have recently felt loss very much like this. Hi Garbo, it is I, the many-named reporter. My dog died. Doberman. Girl. Nine years old. Think her heart went. It was pretty much instant. One moment taking her for a walk, then she cried out, fell and was gone. We buried her in the back yard, and I can't stop seeing it all happen over and over every time I look at the grave.

We have a new Doberman pup. She has the name the old girl had. She is identical in behaviour. We will train her exactly as we did with the last one. Am trying to be happy for her but cannot stop mourning the last one.
