Scientists are putting together particle stimulation in an effort to speak in real time. They believe this will mean better computing. But it is so much more!

I guess sometimes you need to put a carrot on a stick.

Now we just need to subtley suggest replacing our radio wave transmissions out to the universe with this! And in the direct of the WOW signal!

Hydrogen radio waves, I believe.

I wish they wouldn't call it teleportation. It's a transmission. I guess the Kayeen screwed them over so they can't even call it the right thing.

Can you elaborate?

It's a linguistic criticism. Teleportation (lit. "distance carrying/passage" in Latin) implies moving of objects. Transmission (lit. "distance sending" in Latin) implies movement of information.

BTW, got this bit of good news from [r]artificial: https://www.sciencenews.org/article/chip-carbon-nanotubes-not-silicon-marks-computing-milestone?utm_source=Reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=r_science

Looks like RD's "carbon based computing" is on the horizon, maybe?
