How is the Adversary bad is its needed for free will and a spoke for god’s journey?

It is the antithesis of God.

Yet god has him as a means for free will.

It seems hyprocritical to bemoan Satan when it’s a needed premise for something you’re willing to defend; in this case, free will. You curse it, yet you need it for what it brings.

Doesn’t that strike you as a bit odd? Like someone not willing to aknowledge the full responsibility of what they’re doing.

It’s like cursing an evil tree that produces godly fruit. You’ve accepted the tree as needed for this good fruit, accepting it. How then can you call it evil as you’ve accepted it?

Hope I’m not coming off as evil right now. Maybe I’m overthinking it.

The adversary is a necessary evil the One will conquer and chain on His return.

Yes, but won’t he then set him free?

We can't fathom beyond our present. We need to address the immediacy of our threats in the here and now and overcome them. Let God hold our future. The One has reasons for everything He does.

Just saying the one has reasons and leaving it at that leads to nothing. Even if he holds the future, one can still try to see it.

Though you are right. We need to focus on the task at hand of information spreading and dissemination.

If God is the ground of reality, wouldn’t the absolute antithesis of God be a “dead” nonexistence? I think that Satan probably approximates this in a relative (imperfect) sense but even his evil doesn’t ultimately strive to deny his own existence as his arrogance precludes that.

Even a relative extreme however is a thing not to be desired as it is ontologically a path to destruction. For it promotes lack of healthy existing as salvation is defined and one can “fall off” into the dead void.

We must acknowledge the compatibilistic freedom of Will as necessary thing but avoid the abuses which lead to the evil things Satan does by misusing his. La Vey’s mistake, consequently, was conflating necessary with good.

The greatest lie the Adversary ever spread is that he doesn't exist.

Oh he exists. I know that personally from what I endured from the tempter trying to take my soul. Fortunately Christ Jesus is stronger and the Holy Spirit hangs with us even while we still are ignorant thinking we have to do this all by ourselves. Not by my own reason or strength bu the grace of God in Jesus Christ only. It’s why I find Luther so sympathetic since he fought the same fight I did. :)
