Governor Cuomo in New York is doing everything in his power to disarm his state, and eventually the nation, through his attacks on the National Rifle Association, NRA. He's strong arming banks and insurance companies not to do business with the NRA, and without them, the NRA could fold.

There is a push to disarm the nation by those with an agenda of control. The second amendment will be narrowed and stripped until it is meaningless.

While violence is always a danger, disarming American citizens will leave us unable to defend ourselves, our families and our communities should there be a catastrophe and society breaks down. And the chances of that happening are high.

Katrina wasn't long ago. Things fell apart and sociopaths used the event as an excuse to kill, loot, hurt and damage.

We're overdue for seismic activity, earthquakes, even a volcano. We're endangered by weather events on every coast, and even across The heartland. No one knows what is coming next, or when. We must be able to protect ourselves.

Our petro-dollar could crumble. Terrorists could create havoc. Our shores could sustain a terrible attack from one of our enemies, or frenemies.

We must guard our rights, and defend those who help us do that, like the NRA

Yea I just don't see Texas handing them over.

"We're here to take your guns."

"Yea... ok" (Starts loading revolver)

Still, a fair chance to see his record.

The federal government just outlawed bump stocks. We are supposed to turn them in. Anyone caught with one could be fined or even arrested.

This is another step toward our eventual disarmament.

I agree with reform of weapons with an intended purpose other than hunting for food, and self defense.

If we allow the production of military automatic weapons, then we can conclude they’ll eventually end up in civilian hands unless you live in a tightly controlled or communist country.

Intent here is key, since we’ll never be rid of guns, we might as well completely focus on behavioral and situational crimes with weapons of intimidation towards fellow humans.

Until we accept how poor stewards we are, we’ll never gain the traction needed to convict rapists, murderers, terrorist, etc. to the fullest extent because there’s an allowance here, an economy to run, and too many people. To some, one less person is a positive note to our footprint.

When it comes to the day when they knock on your door, maybe you lost your gun hunting. You made a report with the local police station when you made it back from backpacking across 20-50 miles of terrain, you fell in to white water and lost your pack, chased by a bear, etc.

Here’s my police report number, thanks!

Edited first sentence.
